Today we’d like to introduce you to Kareem “Reemo Meerak” Tyson.

Hi Kareem “Reemo Meerak”, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Wow, we want to start of showing my AGGGGGGEEEEE, Huh…lol

Pretty much started out in Acting on TV Shows, Movies, and Commercials as an Actor in April 2006 by way of Central Casting (Currently, “Casting Networks”) Agency and worked as a Background Actor, and some “One-Liners”. During this time I was working at a High Luxury Women’s store (which went out of business…but Reemo is still here….Wink Wink) then once I got in a groove with Acting. They fired me for something that could’ve been handled differently, but as per usual GOD don’t like ugly and their asses ain’t here anymore…lol

Back to the acting, I had to learn a lot early on, and must say to anybody coming into the industry “STUDY TF OUT OF THE BUSINESS BEFORE ENTERING IT!!!!”. Because “BABBBBBBYYYYYYYY” it hit me hard when the constant flow of working stopped, and then from there an anxiety with depression is heavily created. I’m losing my self-love, appeasing to WAYYYYYY TOO MANY PEOPLE, and caring way to much about what people are thinking. Then, it’s leads to some heavily tragic behaviors, which I have no problem explaining later on.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I will say over the past two decades (Offically, April, 2nd 2026 will be 20 Years) it’s been a challenging, yet rewarding journey. YES, a lot of political fukery amongst the NEW YORK Entertainment Industry, as well as coming to the independent side of it, and embrace some real ignorant, and out right nonsense situations for people to conduct business with. Also, straight up and down I’ve encountered a lot of people that have wasted my time vs the ones who really were GREAT People, and overall contributed healthy work and business process amongst the entertainment industry.. The only thing I will say it’s highly disheartening being a homegrown individual and having to go through hell and high water just form some lackluster “NO” from people who have the slightest of clues to what is VALUABLE for a PRODUCT!!!!
End all be all has and will not stop my GRIND!!!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
For a little over 20 Years, a multi-talented and hyphenated Entertainment Figure from Harlem, NYC by way of Laurelton, QUEENS who takes heavily pride in his craft, and business acumen. Also, to my all to respect and honor the entertainment industry that I’ve contributed a boat load of blood, sweat, and tears to.

I love what I do, and will do anything to protect my love for this. Also, just flat out don’t have the time for the fukery that’s been occurring in the entertainment industry. I will do my all to contribute being that quality brand, and inspire whom I can along the journey of my career.

I’m proud of the fact that I never gave up, and trust there were moments, but at this point I’m in the right direction and best believe the 4th QUARTER OF 2025….REEMO MEERAK will be a HOUSEHOLD NAME!!!!

What sets me apart from everyone is just flat out….. THEY ARE NOT REEMO MUTHA F’N MEERAK!!!!

Don’t WORK HARD as I do, NOT PASSIONATE FOR THIS AS I AM, NOT AS HUNGRY, and DAMN SURE NOT AS ENTERTAINING!!!!!

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice to anyone and especially #MyCreatives please do not let this industry or anyone take you away from truly researching and understanding this BUSINESS!!!!

BE VIGILANTLY CONSISTENT with your CREATIVITY!!!!

And……DAMN SURE BE UNAPOLOGETIC about whom you are, and understand that investing in yourself is the true conduit to SUCCESS!!!!
