Conversations with Julio Romano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julio Romano

Hi Julio, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started in the 90s in west Hollywood working with Alt Rock Bands and living the Rock n Roll life style working 7days a week it never began or ended it was and endless haze of salon/studio calls /photo shoots and videos .and television LA never stops moving I am a workaholic it feeds constantly, 12 years ago I opened an Alt Rock salon with deep punk queer and ethnic roots most of our stylists are Natives as am I so we are properly interpreting the region and properly serving the neighborhood we also do community events House Less and gender affirming haircuts for people who need help , giving back to the community is a big part of who we are and what we do

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have reinvented my self so many times to get better and healthier as a person as well as getting clean from substance abuse from working in Hollywood with bands and in fashion , with yoga meditation and a heathy lifestyle I am able to be relevant and above all helpful and happy and
