Today we’d like to introduce you to Jane Won.
Hi Jane, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
It all started when I received my first energy healing treatment while on vacation in Tulum, Mexico. Before then, I had only vaguely heard of Reiki and went into the session with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. I honestly didn’t expect much, but the experience shifted something deep within me. I felt changes I couldn’t explain, and the healer’s intuitive insight into my life left me amazed and intrigued. Soon after, I enrolled in my first Reiki course, feeling a pull I couldn’t ignore.
That experience opened the door to a much deeper journey. I began following an undeniable curiosity to explore energy work with devoted intention, seeking out teachers, mentors, and modalities to understand what felt both mysterious and familiar. At the same time, I was immersed in yoga, completing multiple teacher trainings in various lineages. Yin and Kundalini practices resonated most, opening me to the emotional and energetic dimensions of movement. I eventually felt called to leave the corporate world and dedicate myself fully to teaching yoga and guiding others in their process of realignment and transformation.
Working closely with clients, especially those navigating physical limitations or emotional imbalances, taught me how intricately the body, mind, and spirit are interconnected and how profound healing often arises through an integrative, multidimensional approach. That awareness guided me back to acupuncture, a medicine I had grown up receiving. After my Reiki attunement, my experience of acupuncture became mystical. Though I couldn’t articulate it then, I later came to understand that it was a sacred convergence of energy, spirit, and the body’s innate wisdom. I knew I wanted to learn how to bridge these worlds- the energetic and the clinical, and help people heal on every level.
Eventually, this calling led me to pursue my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine while continuing to explore other therapeutic and spiritual traditions, from psychic and mediumship studies to a form of energy healing I later traveled to Japan to learn. Each step has been guided by my desire to weave together intuitive with scientific and the mystical with the grounded. In hindsight, every chapter of my journey, from that first Reiki session in Tulum to the work I do today, has been about expanding my connection to consciousness, uncovering hidden layers of myself, and living with greater clarity, peace, and purpose while helping others do the same.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. A few years ago, I experienced a sudden and mysterious physical limitation that drastically shifted my once very active lifestyle. I searched for answers through every avenue: biomedical, natural, and spiritual. I gradually realized that the body, in its wisdom, sometimes asks us to pause, listen, and surrender. What first felt like a setback became a pivotal turning point, a chance to slow down, meet myself in stillness, and trust the guidance I was receiving.
Over time, I began to learn (not through thought, but through experience), that healing can’t be rushed or forced; it unfolds in its own rhythm when we soften, trust, and allow life to move through us. That experience reshaped how I now hold space for others, with greater patience and compassion for the unseen struggles that so often become the doorway to growth.
At the same time, pursuing my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine was one of the most demanding yet rewarding paths I’ve walked. Balancing rigorous study with my intuitive, spiritual nature and ongoing inner work pushed me to grow in every way. There were moments of exhaustion and doubt, but each one strengthened my resilience and clarity of purpose. Looking back, every challenge, whether physical, academic, or spiritual, has become a part of my own medicine and the path that shaped who I am as a healer today.
At the heart of it all, my work is about supporting people in reconnecting with themselves, finding balance, clarity, and a sense of ease that allows true healing to take place.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work bridges intuitive energy healing, Eastern medicine, and embodied practices to support balance, clarity, and renewed vitality, helping clients feel lighter and more at ease in their bodies and minds. Through subtle-body work, intuitive guidance, and a grounded, heart-centered approach, I help people release stored tension, emotions, and energetic imprints that may block the body’s natural flow of well-being. In addition to energy and therapeutic work, I also teach private yoga sessions that weave mindful movement, breath, and energetic awareness, guiding clients to reconnect with their bodies and cultivate a deeper sense of presence.
I’m especially drawn to working with those who feel disconnected, depleted, or “stuck,” whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually— people who are ready for change and open to deeper transformation. Some come to me after exploring more traditional approaches, while others arrive out of simple curiosity, and together we uncover the energetic and emotional roots of their symptoms, leading to meaningful insight, release, and renewal.
In my current practice, I integrate intuitive restorative work and spiritual guidance with elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Eastern diagnostic assessment, moxibustion, cupping, and ear seeding. These modalities combine to create a holistic experience that supports physical, emotional, and energetic realignment. Some offerings (like cupping, moxibustion, ear seeding, and intuitive soul readings) are also available as single offerings for those seeking targeted support or an introduction to this work. Each session is personalized and deeply restorative, helping clients feel grounded and aligned with their natural vitality.
I recently completed my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and am now in the process of pursuing licensure. I’m deeply inspired to soon integrate acupuncture into my offerings, expanding upon what already exists within my practice: a space where ancient wisdom, integrative healing, and subtle-body medicine meet, creating a sanctuary for holistic renewal and authentic connection.
What sets my work apart is the way I bridge worlds: science and spirit, stillness and movement, body and consciousness. My background in Chinese medicine allows me to understand the body’s systems and patterns through a diagnostic lens, while my intuitive sensitivity helps me perceive the subtler layers of energy and emotion. Each session becomes a multidimensional experience that supports restoration and alignment on every level, body, mind, and soul.
I’m most proud of the transformations I witness- those moments of awakening, relief, and remembrance when someone begins to feel at ease in their body, clear in their mind, and open in their heart. Sometimes that looks like physical healing— pain easing or symptoms improving, and sometimes it’s something deeper: a profound sense of peace and wholeness returning.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I think I was always deeply connected to something beyond the visible world, though I didn’t have the words for it at the time. Ever since I was a child, I would find myself effortlessly “manifesting” things, everything from small coincidences to major life moments, long before I ever knew that word existed. I was endlessly curious and imaginative, attuned to energies others couldn’t perceive, yet that felt completely natural to me. Even as a young child, offering guidance to friends and family came naturally. I instinctively knew how to listen, support, and help others make sense of their feelings, experiences, and the challenges they were facing.
I was a total bookworm, especially drawn to mystical tales or ghost stories, anything that opened a doorway into the unseen. Astrology fascinated me; it felt like a language for understanding the soul. Creativity was my second nature. I spent hours drawing, rearranging and painting rooms until they felt right, and helping my family renovate our home. That early love of harmony and design later led me to study interior design, and to this day, I’m drawn to aesthetics and love creating spaces that feel balanced and energetically harmonious.
Throughout my childhood, movement was another way I connected with myself. I was very keen on gymnastics growing up, which naturally evolved into my love for yoga as an adult. Reflecting on these experiences, I can see how these threads of curiosity, creativity, movement, spiritual sensitivity, and an early inclination to guide others were all reflections of who I am now— someone who bridges the physical and the subtle, the seen and unseen.
Astrologically, I’m a Sagittarius stellium, which feels fitting. I’ve always been an explorer at heart, drawn to freedom, wisdom, and truth. A bit of a nonconformist, I’ve always been asking “why” and “what’s beneath the surface.” I’ve never been one to follow a straight path; mine has always been one of discovery, guided by intuition and wonder. That same spirit continues to guide me in my work today as a healer, helping others reawaken their own inner wisdom, access guidance, and reconnect with their life force.
