Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Lowery.
Hannah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have been performing my whole life. I am a competitive dancer for 8+ years. During middle school, I did several theater shows and as I got older I realized I wanted to transition into the professional business side of acting and content creating. I started posting on my TikTok and Instagram @hannahloweryofficial which gradually grew bigger and stronger as a platform. I post lifestyle content that’s positive and fun. I was casted on Dhar Mann for several episodes. I’ve also done many commercials, industrial projects, and films. I’m so grateful for the support that I have from my family and friends and I can’t wait to see where my hard work leads me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
During my career, there has been some struggles. Being hacked on Instagram and shadow-banned is the absolute worst and the thought of not having your account that you have worked so hard on is a horrible feeling. As for my acting career, my age has been tricky because of not being 18. Many directors want to hire 18 or over to play those in between ages. Despite the struggles, my career has been a growing process and I learn so much from every bump in the road. I take every audition very serious. Sometimes I use my acting coach to help with the character breakdown and help me film my audition. There are many “not this time” in this industry but I just keep doing my thing in hopes for my “big break” one day.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an actress, content creator, and dancer. I am most known for my 10+ episodes featured in Dhar Mann. Dhar Mann has an extremely successful platform producing positive inspirational content for all ages. I am so proud to be in several of his videos. I have over 72,000 followers on TikTok where I share lifestyle relatable content as well. I am most proud of how far I have come. I remember first starting out having no idea what I was doing but I have learned so much and I am extremely passionate about my career. I love this job more than anything, and I think that my work ethic sets me apart from other kids in the industry because I do almost all of my business myself. I have a genuine love for acting and content creating and that’s what makes my job fun for me.
