Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Josephin.
Hi Hannah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all really started with small lipsync videos — just for fun at first. But over time, I began to see a much bigger potential in the app. I realized it could be a space where I could normalize the things I was personally struggling with back then — like accepting my acne and my body, which is such a huge part of the teenage experience.
That’s when I started creating my first real videos, where I openly showed my acne and talked about what I was going through. And over time, it grew into something much bigger — something that made me feel empowered and comfortable in my own skin.
Even though I’ve since healed my acne, I still remind my followers how important it is to embrace ourselves, especially through the difficult parts.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve been creating content online for almost four years now, and the journey hasn’t always been easy. There were definitely moments when I questioned the point of it all — when I felt like nothing I was doing really mattered.
Of course, there were also hate comments, but those never really got to me. What hit harder were the real-life situations — people making remarks or confronting me about what I was doing online, even though I wasn’t doing anything wrong.
So no, it definitely wasn’t as simple as it might seem from the outside. But despite everything, I’m incredibly grateful for my followers — especially those who’ve been with me since the very beginning.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an influencer who focuses on showing my audience that acne is completely normal — and that while it’s okay to want to treat it, it’s just as important to accept it and be kind to yourself in the process.
I love sharing little tips and tricks that help people feel more confident — whether it’s about how they dress, how they carry themselves, or simply how they talk to themselves.
At the end of the day, it’s all about self-love, relatability, and reminding people (especially young girls) that they’re enough just as they are. That’s what I try to bring into every piece of content I create.
What’s next?
Right now, I just want to keep growing in what I do. I feel really passionate about the content I create and the community I’ve built, and I want to keep showing up for them in new and creative ways.
My biggest dream, though, is to one day launch my own beauty brand. I’d love to create products that reflect everything I stand for — clean, kind, confidence-boosting beauty that actually makes people feel good in their skin.
