Today we’d like to introduce you to Franceasca Seiden.
Hi Franceasca, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Rooted in storytelling, shaped by subcultures, and guided by intuition, Franceasca Seiden is a multidimensional artist whose work bridges the worlds of film, photography, writing, and the healing arts. Known for illuminating visionary voices and crafting soulful, immersive narratives, she is the founder of Alchemystic Arts, LAiCREATIVES, 3GZ Productions, and Sexual Alchemy Healing Arts (SAHA). Her creative path is anything but linear—woven with intention, experimentation, and a commitment to elevating what’s often unseen. What follows is a deeper look into the road she’s traveled, the work she’s built, and the wisdom she’s gathered along the way.
I was raised in a deeply creative home—my mother was an artist and interior designer, and our daily life revolved around painting, crafting, and capturing everything on film. From an early age, I was drawn to movement, expression, and imagination—dancing, performing in theater, collecting music, and documenting the world around me through photography and writing. I was especially inspired by subcultures, esoteric traditions, and the unseen narratives that shape people and places—passions my parents wholeheartedly encouraged.
I began my career as a photographer—obsessed with portraits, nudes, and the intimacy of film, which I developed by hand in the darkroom. My lens was always guided by emotion and story, influenced by artists like Nan Goldin, David Wojnarowicz, and other multimedia visionaries. From there, I expanded into curating art exhibitions, experimental film nights, and collaborative group shows with fellow artists. As my work evolved into music, festival culture, and multimedia documentation, I co-founded 3GZ Productions—a boutique production company that became a pivotal turning point.
We produced Darkbeat: An Electro World Voyage, which premiered officially before screening at Ultra Music Festival, Art Basel Miami Beach, Calgary Underground Film Festival, and San Francisco Independent Film Festival. The film gained momentum, eventually being featured in over 20 international film festivals and screenings. It also won Best Documentary at the Miami Underground Film Festival. That experience allowed me to continue elevating overlooked talent through curated events, filmmaking, and press coverage.
Whether consulting, writing, filming, or curating, I’ve always been driven by the same mission: to uplift visionary voices—especially those working at the intersection of art, culture, and spirit. That calling led to the creation of LAiCREATIVES, a digital magazine platform for multidisciplinary artists, and Alchemystic Arts, where I continue to amplify transformative creative work.
I want readers to feel awakened to possibility—that storytelling can be soulful, collaborative, and revolutionary. That working with me means entering a creative partnership grounded in intuition, vision, and intention. Whether you’re an artist, brand, or festival, my goal is to help amplify your voice in a way that resonates far beyond the surface.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has never been straight—but it’s been expansive, layered, and always guided by intuition. I’ve often found myself ahead of the cultural curve. Projects like the podcast Sex, Magick and Dessert, my healing work with SAHA, and even Miami’s Independent Thinkers—a four-day multidisciplinary art fair during Art Basel Miami Beach spotlighting local talent—were once seen as too niche or too wild… until suddenly, they weren’t. That’s part of the gift and challenge of being a visionary: you’re often building bridges to a future others haven’t imagined yet.
To keep the vision alive, I’ve had to stay fluid—shifting between writing, filmmaking, curating, PR, and creative consulting. Even while working for networks like FX and Current TV, I remained committed to holding space for the kind of work that doesn’t easily fit a mold. But that pace—and the constant output—eventually led to real burnout.
I stepped away for a time and lived in a yoga ashram, where I reconnected with my body, my breath, and a slower rhythm. What began as personal healing naturally evolved into part of my offering—tools I now share with other creatives navigating similar cycles of exhaustion and reinvention.
At one point, my work on a fully packaged feature garnered strong attention and opened doors to other high-level writing opportunities. While I was grateful for the recognition, it also reminded me how easily your energy can be pulled toward other people’s visions if you’re not fiercely protecting your own. That experience sharpened my understanding of boundaries, collaboration, and creative sovereignty.
These challenges didn’t deter me—they refined me. I collaborate more intentionally now. I know the kind of energy I want to be around, and I protect my vision with clarity. I don’t just create—I alchemize. And I seek out collaborators who are just as devoted to their craft.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work is a tapestry woven from diverse threads—filmmaking, photography, writing, curating, and the healing arts. I specialize in crafting narratives that exist at the intersection of culture, music, mysticism, and transformation. As the founder of 3GZ Productions, I produced Darkbeat: An Electro World Voyage, an award-winning documentary that explores the evolution of electro music and its global cultural impact. It was more than a film—it became a movement that honored underground voices shaping the soundscape of the future.
In addition to film, I’ve curated dynamic multimedia events and exhibitions—spaces centered on amplification, elevating artists, voices, and subcultures that might otherwise go unseen. My writing spans feature interviews, cultural essays, poetic critiques, short films, and full-length narratives, with contributions to various art and music publications.
Through Alchemystic Arts and LAiCREATIVES, I continue to consult, package, and champion the work of artists across disciplines, helping them align their vision with how they present it to the world.
What sets me apart is my ability to synthesize intuition, storytelling, and strategy. I’m not just a creator—I’m a cultural alchemist. My creative practice is deeply spiritual, often integrating metaphysical tools like breathwork, sound, and symbolism into both my own process and the spaces I hold for others. I believe art isn’t just meant to be consumed—it’s meant to awaken.
What I’m most proud of is staying true to my vision, even when it was considered “too much” or “too early.” Again and again, I’ve watched the world catch up. That’s the power of creating from instinct, not trend. And that’s the frequency I bring to every project I touch.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Trust your instincts more than the noise. Everyone will have an opinion, but your vision is your compass. There’s a difference between feedback and interference—learn to recognize it early. Don’t wait for permission or validation. Start where you are, with what you have, and make something honest. The art doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be true. Also, treat your creativity like a sacred practice. Burnout is real when you’re always outputting and not replenishing. Build rituals that protect your energy. Rest is part of the work. And find your people—collaborators who get it, who challenge you and champion you. Creative solitude is powerful, but creative community is what sustains the long game. If I could tell my younger self one thing, it would be: don’t shrink your ideas to fit the moment. Let the moment rise to meet your ideas.
