Today we’d like to introduce you to Dietmar Kohl.
Dietmar, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
agrowing up in and around the town of Vienna i always was a creative Mind and Thinker painting and Music when i was young kept me excited and delighted ..then i went to graphic artschool and studied photography and graphics ..then went out and started assisting proffesionals and learning from them about Business and decided to do Fashionphotography Portrait work on the commercial side ..i did a lot of Work and still do then got married/divorced then got married again here in L.A. and stayed till my wife passed away and thats how i ended up still here in the town of Toluca Lake .. Break on Through the other side is my kind of Mind the Doors brought me here to this town..
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
never is a smooth road ..even when it seems smooth a little bump all of a sudden appears i am still very emotional so it doesnt support a smooth road actually Relationships and other ships are sailing us into unknown Waters day by Day !

Dietmar Kohl Photography
Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, I enjoyed an eclectic life full of art steeped in a deep-rooted culture. My father gave me my first camera when I was a teenager and we often enjoyed photography together. As a young man, I began my lifelong work as a commercial Fashion Photographer. Some 30 years later curiosity led me to want to see more of the world and explore America. Settling in Los Angeles, California where photography continues to be my passion.
I love to photograph, many genres, as viewed, on my website and yet my focus often brings me back to my Fashion Photography roots. I love photographing people, including one of my heartfelt passions is photographing the plight of the homeless people here in Los Angeles. I’ve been involved in several fundraisers with Homeless Healthcare of Los Angeles where they auctioned off my photography. In the Neutra Photography show, I’ve chosen to focus on my beloved Roses plus a few other genres and also show one of my canvas paintings.
Although, I live in Los Angeles, I continue to enjoy Viennese culture, of socializing and getting together for coffee and cake. How do you define success?
Oh Sucess for me is to get up every Morning again and enjoy the Light and chance to do some more good Living and Loving !
