Conversations with Denise Eileen Fleischer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Denise Eileen Fleischer.

Hi Denise Eileen Fleischer, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began when I moved to Los Angeles in 2019 to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), where I earned my Associate’s degree in Merchandise Marketing and later my Bachelor’s in Business Management. While studying, I started creating content on TikTok, sharing my love for fashion, trending dances, and fun skits. That’s when I realized how much I loved connecting with people through content.

What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into something more. I began collaborating with brands I admired, which eventually led to an exciting opportunity to work in the social media department at GUESS? Inc.—one of the most recognized fashion brands in the world. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to help shape marketing strategies and create content for a variety of brands. I’m always looking for new ways to grow, create, and take on exciting new challenges in the digital and fashion space!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth journey. I was in the middle of my second year at FIDM when the pandemic hit, and like so many others, I was forced to adjust to a completely new way of learning almost overnight. For someone in a creative field, moving to online classes felt incredibly limiting. So much of what we do thrives on hands-on collaboration, real-time feedback, and being surrounded by other creatives who push and inspire you. There’s an energy in the classroom that just can’t be replicated through a screen.

At first, it was discouraging—but instead of letting it hold me back, I looked for new ways to channel my creativity. That’s when I turned my focus to TikTok. What started as just something fun to pass the time quickly became a real passion. I found joy in creating, editing, sharing, and connecting with an audience in a way I hadn’t experienced before. It helped me rediscover my voice and opened up a whole new world of possibilities I hadn’t considered.

Looking back, that time taught me a lot about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of leaning into what makes you feel alive. Every challenge brings with it an opportunity for growth, and for me, that moment of uncertainty became a turning point in my creative journey.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in social media marketing, with a strong focus on content creation and social strategy. Running my own brand on TikTok has been the most rewarding and fulfilling part of my career so far — it’s something I’m incredibly proud of. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a platform that’s allowed me to collaborate with some of the most influential names in the industry. I’ve had the honor of creating content for major brands like Prada Beauty, YSL Beauty, and have been involved in special pop-up events for Louis Vuitton, Dior, Schiaparelli, Barbie, Teen Vogue, and Benefit Cosmetics.

In addition to content creation, I’ve also had the opportunity to walk in several LA Fashion Week shows, which has been a dream come true. I think what sets me apart is my ability to blend fun, relatable storytelling with a fashion-forward edge. My TikTok page isn’t limited to just one niche — it’s a dynamic mix of fashion, lifestyle, beauty, and moments that reflect who I am. I love keeping things fresh and engaging while still being authentic to myself and my audience!

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
For me, the most important quality for success would be resilience. In the world of social media and content creation, things can change quickly—what works today might not work tomorrow, and not every post or campaign is going to be a hit. Being resilient allows me to bounce back from setbacks, keep trying new approaches, and adapt to an ever-evolving landscape. It’s about maintaining that drive and optimism, even when things don’t go as planned.
