Today we’d like to introduce you to Dani Daniels.
Hi Dani, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From a very young age, my grandmother kept my sister and I in performing arts until I was about 16. My grandmother Collette Wood was a publicist for Motown records, wrote for LA times and work on many nonprofit organizations. She would take us with her to different events, and getting exposed to that lifestyle at a young age lead me to where I am today. Been acting from the age of six and been modeling since my early twenties. I just love the environment of the industry that its fast pace and always keeping up the trends. Being able to express yourself through a different light is exhilarating and physical memories to cherish is one of the best feelings. Yeah, everything doesn’t come out perfect but it shows you where you need to grow and see where you have grew from.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Even all the streets I drive on aren’t smooth. neither is this journey. There’s so many trials and tribulations I have gone through from being scammed lied to, tried to take advantage of my not knowing. Has really helped you develop tough skin working in this industry. What I have learned you always have to read between the lines of what people are telling you. And you definitely have to be aware of your surroundings and who you’re working with. Also, learning how to deal with your mental health and physical health because in this society we live in has so many expectations for what need women to look like meanwhile, you don’t fit all those criteria. While still having a life, going to school, having a job and then having twins. You really learn how to balance everything while still trying to pursue your dreams. Unfortunately, while starting my model career, I had the have the devastating news and lost my son Carter due to a cardiac arrest at only 17 months old. And still dealing with that and keeping a positive outlook on life. One thing my son taught me is while you still go through all these different diversities in life remain smiling, my son always had a smile on his face even when he didn’t feel good. Just have to learn to enjoy to struggles to fully understand the victories.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
In more current years I’ve been known for my modeling. And that has taking to multiple different acting opportunities. I enjoy my modeling, so I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills. I take great probe in taking classes to increase my skills. I continuously take classes from the celebrity runway coach Bobbi Bell. And just going to her classes, I’ve been able to walk in celebrity runways shows from Angel Brinks and the Winnie Stackz have some of my biggest achievements. I have such a positive outlook on everything I do that I give off a very positive infectious vibe that people enjoy and that keeps them coming back. I have a very unforgettable presence.
