Conversations with Celine Ramos

Today we’d like to introduce you to Celine Ramos

Celine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my fitness journey in 2016, working with personal trainers with the goal of staying very skinny. Over time, my priorities shifted, and there were ups and downs where fitness wasn’t always at the forefront of my life. However, I’ve always had a love for fitness and knew I wanted to inspire others, but I wasn’t sure how to do it. Once I got the hang of working out on my own, I began prioritizing my health a little more.

When COVID hit and gyms closed, I had to find a way to stay fit. I started running five days a week and avoided weight lifting for a while. But when gyms started reopening, my true fitness journey began to take shape. In 2022, I hit a point where I felt lost—not just in fitness, but in life. I struggled mentally, physically, and emotionally. I found myself in a relationship that I knew wasn’t healthy for me, but stayed in it for about a year, and it really took a toll on me.

That’s when I realized I needed to focus on myself. I started my healing journey and began to work on my mental and emotional health. From 2022 to 2024, it wasn’t easy, especially the years 2023-2024, but those struggles were key to my personal growth. I came to a realization that I wanted to help others not only stay fit but also build a strong foundation for their mental health. I wanted people to know they weren’t alone in their struggles behind closed doors.

That’s when I decided to start creating content. I began sharing my journey in November 2023, and it has continued ever since. Now, I’m in a new chapter of self-healing, self-improvement, and figuring out what truly matters in my life. Being able to share this journey vulnerably is a blessing, and I’m beyond grateful to have the opportunity to connect with others along the way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been many ups and downs, and there were times when I had to prioritize my own well-being. Setting boundaries with people who no longer served a positive purpose in my life was necessary for my growth. I’ve faced moments where I felt defeated, overwhelmed, and uncertain, but each of those challenges has contributed to my personal growth and resilience.

There were times I questioned my abilities, but I realized those struggles were opportunities for me to learn and become stronger. The key has been recognizing that growth isn’t linear, and the setbacks are just part of the journey. It’s about pushing through those tough times, taking the lessons, and using them to become a better version of myself.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a registered nurse working on a cardiac telemetry unit, where I specialize in monitoring patients with heart-related conditions, providing critical care, and ensuring patient safety through constant observation of their heart rhythms and vital signs. I am known for my attention to detail, ability to stay calm under pressure, and compassionate approach to patient care.

What I’m most proud of is my ability to connect with patients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Being a part of their healing process and seeing their progress is incredibly rewarding. I’m also proud of the skills I’ve developed in managing complex cases and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible.

What sets me apart is my dedication to continuous learning and improvement. I constantly seek to expand my knowledge in cardiac care, stay updated on the latest medical advancements, and refine my clinical skills. I believe that a strong combination of technical expertise, empathy, and communication is key to making a real difference in patient outcomes.
