Conversations with Bryan Fernandez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Fernandez

Hi Bryan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
First off I would love to shout out Camila Sanchez for giving me the first Canvas rebel feature and to Samantha Brown for this opportunity to share more of my journey!. From Someone who grew up and fell in love with theatre and performing on stage, later solidifying the performer in me by joining acting classes for film and tv to explore more of the art form. To finally seeing the fruit of my labor this year working on amazing projects that are launching in 2025! Very blessed and thankful.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely! There have been many challenges and bumps along the way. The most difficult one for any actor is of course the rejection one faces. But perseverance and a positive attitude can overcome any obstacle. But most importantly understanding one thing early on in this industry, is that not every single role is meant for you. It may be a tough pill to swallow at first but once you realize that the right role WILL come your way and thats just destiny, things truly do fall into place. I can guarantee that! God is always in control!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
This year has been very formative for me. I’m an actor represented by the Savage agency Los Angeles!, but this year I had the privilege of creating, writing, and executive producing my upcoming project, “It’s Always Raining Somewhere.” It was a true privilege to expand my storytelling abilities Along working with other filmmakers for their projects as just a performer this year as well. There was something extraordinarily special getting to marry the work I do in front of the camera as well as behind the camera. I will always be a team player! So whenever someone has an idea for a project, I am eager to jump on board and participate in any way I can.

What’s next?
I’m very excited for the upcoming film festival tour for “It’s Always Raining Somewhere.” The entire crew and team behind the film are looking forward to sharing this story with audiences. I also had the privilege of filming a pilot for an upcoming show in New York City. As well as a horror short film, so stay tuned for more news!
