Today we’d like to introduce you to Audra Milos
Hi Audra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I got started just doing basic, local, entry-level beginner stuff; modeling for local photographer’s portfolios on Instagram pages, doing 5-minute-long open-mic comedy club gigs, doing background acting for Apple TV+ shows, Tubi movies, Hulu movies, stuff like that. Just anything to get my foot in the door in Hollywood.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been pretty smooth, other than a few bumps. Every once in a while something doesn’t work out, but I’ve personally been very lucky to get work of all types, not just acting roles. I work hard and apply myself all the time, so that’s why I get booked and I’m still in this industry.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an entertainer of all kinds. I love performing, but I also love being around other creatives. I’m known for being seen on Instagram doing modeling, and also for my background acting in TV shows and movies. I’m most proud of all the short films I’ve ever done, so far, where I go to be a lead or a supporting role. I think I get so much acting and modeling work because I actually research what I have to do and then I actually get off my butt and go get it done; I don’t just wish for it and wait around. A lot of people are saying they’re “trying”, but they aren’t even doing their own research making tangible moves in real life. A lot of them haven’t even made up a list of what they need to get done, let alone accomplished things that should be on that list. It’s not gonna just happen because you want it to; you need to do your research, educate yourself on what needs to be done, and then invest time and money and make moves and plans to actually make it happen and get it done.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Spending the holidays with my family and friends. I also loved summer vacations. I grew up in New England, in Maine. I’ve always been outdoorsy. Spending time with them was always fun.
