Today we’d like to introduce you to Adilene “Adi” Rodriguez.
Hi Adilene “Adi”, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
From a very early age, I knew that I would follow the unbeaten path. I had many passions and never wanted to only follow one, but there was one common element in all of my choices. I wanted to empower people, inspire them, and help them.
Growing up in Los Angeles to immigrant parents, I was never able to venture beyond the east side. Being a renter, I knew one day I wanted to have the American dream of owning a house. Now, fast-forward many years later… It’s finally happened, I’ve developed a wanderlust spirit where I love exploring my city and beyond.
The multicultural oasis of LA has transported me to a world of possibilities. Which led me to Real Estate.
I am an energetic and passionate real estate agent, children’s book author, mom to three furbabies, and lover of tacos. Specializing in not only helping clients buy and sell homes but also experiencing the LA lifestyle.
My passion has allowed me to now help as many families find their own path to homeownership.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Success does not follow a straight line. Turns, dips, and falls are all part of the journey. After passing the real estate exam the first time, I was ready to take on the world. Little did I know that passing that exam was not preparation for real-life challenges faced in real estate transactions. As a newbie, I had to learn the talk as well as the walk. Combine that with the uncertainty of finding your own clients. No wonder most real estate agents fail within their first five years. It’s a tough career choice full of rejection but I knew if I kept going, if I made one more call, if I knocked on one more door. Success would be mine.
Having realized how many new agents feel lost during their first few years, I decided to share tips and tricks to help the next one in line. The goal was to create a sense of community. Not only to help as many people as possible find homeownership and generational wealth but also to help new agents succeed.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My millennial perspective, bilingual background, and connoisseurship of the city allow me to provide a unique perspective on real estate. Besides helping people buy and sell property through innovative marketing, I also help identify their future goals, such as investments or generational wealth. In my role as a people connector, I strive to not only identify their current needs but also anticipate their future needs.
This is why I always give my clients VIP access to all my vendors. They may need an attorney to create a trust and avoid probate or a handy worker to fix anything they need. Or a list of the best restaurants and events happening near them. There is no end to the access…
Unlike most agents, I work directly with my clients from start to finish. As a communicative agent, I will never leave them on read. As a result, I’ll make their experience pleasant and informative.
To get the best deal for my clients, I pride myself on three things: full transparency built on trust, innovative marketing, and tactful negotiation skills.
Currently, I am with Keller Williams Real Estate Services, serving all of LA County and the surrounding areas. Nevertheless, I have a wide network of realtors in many states and even in the United Kingdom that I can connect people to.
It’s never too early to start the process. Looking to make a move or invest in LA? Feel free to get in touch with me so we can talk about how we can accomplish your goals, or if you just want some taco recommendations, I’d be happy to taco about that too.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
It’s important to me to help people. Whether it’s providing education and guidance in real estate, helping new agents with tips and tricks or helping women find their voice. One of my biggest motivators is living a life worth living. The goal is not just to leave a mark but to leave an impression. Finding your joy and purpose is a form of self-awareness that is important for everyone to have. That’s why it’s ok to be multi-passionate.
Especially for a Mexican American woman like myself that grew up in a machismo culture. It’s important to celebrate women everywhere, especially those providing resources to the community.
