Hi Adele, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi, my name is Adele Choh Zin! I love sharing sound healing and practices that help free the inner voice! Learning these practices has helped in my own life by keeping me centered and reflective when I was navigating rocky personal, familial or life transition shifts.
ChoZin Healing has a story that means a lot to me and a message – that one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is the gift of choice.
My husband inspired me to name the business ChoZin Healing because he supported and encouraged me when I was healing from corporate burnout. His patience and belief in me helped me find my faith in myself and my choices as well as our names put together literally spell ChoZin! How magical and I would not have had the guts to pursue my heart’s calling without that meaningful support.
It’s a lil bit of my story, but I know without a doubt the internal struggles to even get from there to here and here to there is a universal story!
I’m here for the folks out there elevating self care and mindful personal healing work, anytime you are in need of some healing energy care for your nervous system with reiki and sound therapy whether it be to relax, to deeply reset and/or visualize the game plan for your next chapter in life! That’s what ChoZin Healing is down to support! 💗
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Life is a windy path. Truly, the greatest hurdle that I ever faced was losing my dad. It felt like there was a lot of grief and loss otherwise around that time as well.
And, it was hard finding my purpose after that. Time passed and I found myself healing and gently, progressively feeling happier and less like I’m searching for some lost piece of me while I was participating in community spaces and holistic events especially those with sound healing.
Shoutout to safe spaces in community! It’s hard to find truly safe spaces. When you find one and it stands the test of time, cherish it! I am so unbelievably grateful for the community of healthy, healing friends I keep meeting at the right times and in the right spaces.
If it wasn’t for those communities, I honestly wouldn’t be the same person.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I share Soundbaths and Reiki in spaces and communities that are full of active self healers and dream builders, those that feel brave and ready to begin the journey inward and let go of all the burdens they’ve been carrying since childhood but maybe don’t know yet where to start.
It may sound cliché, but I AM your biggest cheerleader because I know what it feels like to have no backup and pick yourself up off the floor every day to show up.
I’m here for you and anyone that is rediscovering themselves after grief, if you identify as a recovering people pleaser and those wishing they could speak up more in your personal life or business settings.
I’m available to support people to feel more comfortable in their minds and bodies and to speak and sing out in their inner, authentic voice.
I may not be for every person out there but if you resonate with my words, I’m here for you! I mean it from the bottom of my heart! Let’s do it. Let’s heal together!
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Oh my, this is a pretty random, but fun surprise. My husband encouraged me last summer to compete on Beast Games! It was an absolutely unbelievable experience. I competed on a game show with the world’s largest amount of contestants being one of the many Guinness World records achieved; 2,000 people on Episode 0 of Beast Games. You’ll find it on YouTube. You probably won’t be able to see me though!
