Conversations with Abrieel Lewis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abrieel Lewis.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey as Abrieel has really been a mix of faith, creativity, and following the doors God opened for me. I started out simply loving music and storytelling. I grew up writing songs, singing, and expressing myself through art before I ever realized those passions could become a career. Over time, that creative spark expanded into modeling, content creation, and eventually marketing and design.

I became known as “Abrieel” when I started sharing more of my life, my voice, and my style online. That slowly built into a community of women who resonated with my authenticity, my faith, and my passion for empowerment. As opportunities grew, I leaned into being a multifaceted creative—everything from songwriting and performing, to studying at LA Film School, to building brands through graphic design and digital marketing.

I’ve also always had a heart for entrepreneurship. I launched my own creative studio where I design websites, create brand visuals, offer glam services, and collaborate with other creatives and brands. Every step taught me something—how to communicate, how to lead, how to build something from scratch, and how to trust my own vision.

Today, I’m still growing, still learning, and still expanding, but I’m proud of the journey. I’ve built a career that reflects who I am: a singer-songwriter, model, influencer, designer, and a woman who loves inspiring others to think bigger. My goal is to continue using my gifts to create, connect, and uplift.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges on my journey has been trying to get my name out there while not always having the financial resources to invest in myself the way I envisioned. When you’re an independent creative, whether it’s music, content, or building a business, everything comes out of your own pocket. There were times I had the ideas, the passion, and the drive, but not the budget for the production, marketing, or tools that could have elevated my work to the next level.

With music especially, it can be tough. Studio time, mixing and mastering, visuals, and promotion add up, and I’ve had to learn how to be resourceful and patient. The same goes for my other businesses. There’s so much I want to build, including eventually having my own brick-and-mortar space. That’s a dream of mine, a physical studio where creativity, community, and business can all come together.

Another ongoing challenge is building the right team around me. I would love to have a consistent videographer, creative director, and full artist team to bring my vision to life, especially for music videos and bigger projects. When you’re doing everything yourself, it’s rewarding but it can also be overwhelming.

Even with the obstacles, I always remind myself that this is part of my story. Every season where I had to stretch what I had or work with limited resources taught me resilience, creativity, and how to truly appreciate the process. I know the foundation I’m building now will make my future success that much more meaningful.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a multifaceted creative, and that’s really what I’m most known for. I sing, write music, model, create content, and work in marketing and graphic design. I’ve built a brand around being able to move in different creative lanes and still show up authentically in all of them. Whether it’s music, visuals, digital branding, or lifestyle content, I love bringing ideas to life and connecting with people through my creativity.
What sets me apart from others is that I truly believe I can do anything I put my mind to. I don’t limit myself to one title or one industry, and I think that fearlessness is a gift. I don’t wait for permission to create. I’ve learned how to build things from scratch, teach myself new skills, and evolve as I grow. Another thing that sets me apart is my intention. Everything I do comes from purpose, faith, and a desire to inspire and uplift those around me. I want my journey to show other women that you don’t have to fit into one box to be successful.
I’m most proud of my faith and my community, the people who pour into me and keep me grounded. My village, my daughter, and my partner are my biggest blessings. They keep me inspired, full of light, and motivated to keep going even when things get hard. Everything I create and every step I take is fueled by the love, strength, and support they give me.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Another major part of my journey is the support system behind me. My supporters, my partner, and my mother, who is also my music and talent manager, constantly remind me of my gifts and my purpose. They’re the ones who keep me grounded and motivated when the process gets overwhelming.

My mother has played a huge role in shaping me into the artist I am today. She has guided me, developed me, and believed in me even in the moments when I doubted myself. Having her in my corner as both a mother and a manager has been one of my biggest blessings.

My partner also contributes to my creative process in such a meaningful way. Whether it’s helping me brainstorm songwriting ideas, supporting my business visions, or giving me honest feedback, he always shows up. He’s also a music engineer, so having someone who understands the technical and artistic side of what I do has helped elevate my sound and sharpen my skills.

Together, they inspire me, push me, and remind me that I’m walking in my purpose. Their belief in me fuels my belief in myself.
