Conversations with Aaron Tebay

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Tebay.

Aaron, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started making trap beats when I was 16 as I got more familiar with logic. Then once I had some production familiarity under my belt, I went ahead and started making folk/electronic music which is what I grew up adoring and listening to.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve yet to spend a life savings toward a tour or take a leap of faith like that, so I haven’t had any repercussions that weren’t easy to bounce back from.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I compose folk/electronic songs for the pleasure of the common population.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Say hi and be friendly with as many people as you possibly can. Don’t overstep your own boundaries and stay true to yourself. They will find you.
