Today we’d like to introduce you to Harris Holland.
Harris, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started producing in high school after being introduced to FL studio. I had always had a passion for music but never learned theory or how to play any instruments. In high school, my production took off. I fell in love with making beats and recording, producing record after record.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve defiantly hit some speedbumps along the way. I had a couple of records I never got paid for, a pain, but also a good lesson. I also had some management issues that I ended up getting my attorney involved with, but again a struggle that turned into a lesson.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I produce and engineer. I’ve been working in audio for over 6 years and have worked with countless artists and labels. I’m most proud of my ability to grow with artists. I make beats and engineer, but my passion lies in artist development. I love working directly with artists to create masterpieces.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people are surprised when I tell them my age, I’m 20. I don’t know if it’s the beard, the way I carry myself, or my track record, but I am always presumed older. I love seeing the looks on people’s faces when I tell them I’ve just recently turned 20.
