Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Sandoval.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Nicole. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Well, my story in becoming a fashion blogger started probably in March/April of this year, 2019. It was when I went to Coachella and started seeing how my outfits were well received by my friends and followers on Instagram. I will say, my pictures were not the best quality, but they were decent enough to get some attention and have them asking for more pictures. From there, I started really opening my eyes to what is the fashion blogging world. I love it and I guess that’s how I really got started and I’ve just been finding my path to where I am now. Still pretty new and still a lot to learn.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, there definitely have been obstacles such as gaining organic followers, being creative for future content, and just finding your way around Instagram and it’s algorithm (probably the biggest challenge). But it’s all been trial and error. My best advice is to MAKE FRIENDS. Friends that do the same thing as you on social media and be open with your struggles with them. They too will be open with you and you can all learn and grow together.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I pretty much am a fashion influencer and blogger. I’ve primarily been doing that through Instagram but recently kicked off a blog. I do have a set full-time job, but in my pastime, I create content for my Instagram and promote brands that I sincerely think my followers would love. I want to think that what sets me apart is me just being myself, and being open with my followers about everything I’m doing.
It would be great to hear about any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve used and would recommend to others.
I really don’t use any of that, I mostly just use Instagram. I can find everything on there. Or google, I like to research everything. My common sense and my blogger friends are usually what help me.
