Conversations with the Inspiring Kristina Brooks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Brooks.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kristina. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started out in eye candy modeling based out of the DMV as I am born and raised in Baltimore. When I stopped modeling, I realized I grew a great large network. I decided to flip this into social media promotions and then recently moved to social media page management for several brands. I am a social worker by day so I used this side to be creative when I’m making advertisement and flyers for my clients. I have only been in LA for a year and trying to learn the basics here to eventually grow the business here!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been very rocky because I am a woman and many times customers try to blend business and pleasure… but me, I let it be known that I’m strictly about my money and upholding the name of my business… I work hard daily to please my customers and give them the best of my ability for their brands.

What should we know about Divinebrandpromos? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Divine-brand promos basically works as an online yellow page for events business products and trades. I have about 100k followers on 5 pages consisting of Instagram Facebook and Twitter. I also specialize in creating content for pages and managing those pages.

What do you feel are the biggest barriers today to female leadership, in your industry or generally?
Barriers are more so just trying to inform people that you are serious about your business but also want to look fabulous while doing so… lol.
