Conversations with the Inspiring Jacquie Aiche

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacquie Aiche.

Jacquie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always had a strong connection to crystals and precious stones. I started making jewelry out of my garage 11 years ago. At the time, everything in fine jewelry was so traditional and I wanted to make pieces that women have a more spiritual connection to. I was selling my pieces at my clothing store anonymously. When I saw how women responded to them, it was so inspiring, I closed my doors and started my line. Since then, my line has truly had a life of its own. For me, it’s all about the women I adorn. It fills my heart making them feel so uniquely beautiful and welcoming them into the JA tribe.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, there are and will be, bumps in the road but if you are surrounded by other strong women who support you and your journey you can accomplish anything. My tribe is really special to me.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into Jacquie Aiche Jewelry story. Tell us more about the business.
I think a lot of people know me for my body jewelry and signature layered look, but my gemstone and mineral collection is a huge part of who I am. I think what sets me apart from other designers is that it’s not about owning one piece. When you buy one of my creations, you become part of my tribe and it’s just the beginning of a beautiful relationship that grows in layers and years. All my pieces are meaningful to me as well as the women that wear them.

Do you feel like there was something about the experiences you had growing up that played an outsized role in setting you up for success later in life?
I’ve always had a very wild and spiritual nature. I think it’s that rebellious spirit to constantly shake things up that has made me successful as a designer.
