Conversations with the Inspiring Cayla Craft

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cayla Craft.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I grew up in a broken home where my dad was in jail for drug use and my mom was a hard working single mother. I always saw her struggle financially and even declare bankruptcy when I was seven years old. From that time on, I committed to myself that I would not struggle financially. I became super driven to become successful. I chose to start out in a career in nursing because I knew that I would always have a stable job. When I was 23, I was introduced to a network marketing company that I just fell in love with. I was using their health and wellness supplements and decided to make a business out of it. I had a one-year-old son at home and loved that I could work this business from home. I became pretty successful in the company quickly and became a millionaire by age 26. This led me into the world of business consulting and keynote speeches on sales and connection. I now started another business called Mommy Millionaire that focuses on the female entrepreneur following her dreams.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
When I first started my business, most of my friends weren’t entrepreneurs. They didn’t understand the work from anywhere mentality and they didn’t like that I was always talking business. Even my family didn’t understand or support me. It was a really hard feeling rejected by people you care about, but I am so glad that I kept going. When a dream is given to you, it’s given to you for a reason. It’s not everyone’s job around you to understand the dream and support you. It’s your personal mission and you have to treat it as such. Open up space around you for people who have been where you want to go and let them influence you.

What should we know about Mommy Millionaire? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The Mommy Millionaire motto is to be shameless in pursuing your ambitions. I am known for giving my tough love to propel people into action. I don’t sugarcoat things. I tell you what it actually takes to be successful.

Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?
Find the people who have done what you want to do and see how you can contribute to them. Maybe they have a course or event that you could share. If you share something, that helps them. You should always give without expecting to receive anything. The more you give, the more the right people will notice. I love going to events to network.
