Community Highlights: Meet Zahra Adloo of Zahra Adloo Therapy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zahra Adloo

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been drawn to understanding the deeper layers of human experience what shapes us, what holds us back, and what ultimately sets us free. My journey began in the world of traditional therapy, where I worked with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and identity struggles. But over time, I realized that conventional talk therapy, while valuable, often wasn’t enough to facilitate deep, lasting transformation.

This realization led me to explore psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration work, where I saw firsthand the profound impact that substances like ibogaine and psilocybin could have on healing trauma and reconnecting people with their authentic selves. I now work with clients before and after their experiences, helping them integrate these insights into their daily lives.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
On a personal level, I’ve had to navigate loss, personal transformation, and the emotional weight of this work. Losing my father was an incredibly difficult chapter, and it forced me to reflect on my own healing in a way I hadn’t before. There were also financial and logistical hurdles building a business, ensuring ethical and safe psychedelic integration, and balancing passion with sustainability.

Another challenge has been educating people about ibogaine and other plant medicines, especially when there’s so much misinformation or fear around them. It takes time to shift perceptions and help people understand that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process.

As you know, we’re big fans of Zahra Adloo Therapy. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I run Zahra Adloo Therapy LLC, where I specialize in psychedelic integration, trauma healing, and holistic mental health support. My work is rooted in helping people rediscover their authentic selves, particularly those who have struggled with complex trauma, anxiety, or a deep sense of disconnection.

One of my primary focuses is ibogaine integration, which is a powerful but often misunderstood form of healing. I work with clients before and after ibogaine treatment, helping them prepare mentally and emotionally, then guiding them through the process of integrating their insights into everyday life. I also host wellness events and retreats through my brand EvolveRituals, where I bring people together to explore morning routines, mindfulness, and intentional living.

What Sets Me Apart
1. Holistic & Science-Backed Approach – I merge therapeutic modalities with plant medicine wisdom, giving people structured yet intuitive tools for healing.
2. Ibogaine Expertise & Harm Reduction Advocacy – I emphasize safety, preparation, and ethical practices in psychedelic work, ensuring people undergo these experiences with the right support.
3. Integration Beyond the Experience – Many clinics focus solely on the treatment itself, but I specialize in helping people apply their breakthroughs so that their healing is sustainable.
4. Bridging Therapy, Ritual, and Community – Whether through one-on-one therapy, group programs, or wellness events, I create transformative spaces for self-discovery.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Some of the most pivotal moments in my journey have come from what might seem like luck, but I believe they were a result of being in the right place, fully aligned with my purpose:
• Meeting the right people at the right time – Many of my collaborations, including my work with New Path Ibogaine and my entry into the psychedelic healing space, stemmed from unexpected introductions that turned into life-changing opportunities.
• Having the right message when people were ready to hear it – As psychedelic therapy gained mainstream attention, my focus on integration, authenticity, and holistic healing naturally resonated with a growing audience.
• Opportunities falling into place – Being invited to speak on podcasts, contribute to projects, and collaborate with thought leaders often felt like luck, but I also recognize that I was doing the work and showing up consistently, which made me open to receiving those opportunities.
