Community Highlights: Meet Travis White of TLW Agency & RAYVENT

Today we’d like to introduce you to Travis White

Hi Travis, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into digital storytelling, branding, and entrepreneurship has been driven by a deep passion for creativity, strategy, and impact. I’ve always believed that the right narrative can shape culture, connect communities, and leave a lasting impression.

Spending five years managing social media and digital strategy for Kim Kardashian and her brands gave me firsthand experience in building global engagement, crafting compelling narratives, and leading high-impact campaigns. That experience made it clear—I had the expertise, vision, and drive to create something of my own. TLW Agency was born from that realization—a space where storytelling and strategy come together to help brands and individuals build digital identities that don’t just exist but truly resonate.

But before all of this, I had a deep love for fashion. I earned my bachelor’s degree in fashion, originally envisioning a career as a stylist. For years, I felt like I didn’t have the courage to start my own brand. The idea of launching something from scratch felt overwhelming, so I leaned into collaborations, waiting for the “right” moment.

That moment came in May when I finally took the leap and created RAYVENT—a brand that represents more than just fashion. It’s about bold self-expression, confidence, and owning your vision. Over the years, I gained the knowledge, experience, and, most importantly, the belief in myself to bring RAYVENT to life. What once felt impossible became a reality because I finally understood what it took to build something of my own.

I know what it feels like to hesitate, to second-guess whether you’re ready to start. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that no one hands you the perfect moment—you create it. RAYVENT is proof that with time, experience, and trust in your own abilities, you can build something that reflects who you are.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been anything but smooth, but that’s the reality of building something from the ground up. TLW Agency has been a journey of trial and error, learning how to navigate an industry that’s competitive and ever-changing. Finding clients is one thing, but getting them to sign a contract, trust the process, and see the value in what I bring to the table is another challenge entirely. Working for myself means there’s no guaranteed paycheck—I’m responsible for making sure I generate income, and that’s not always easy. I’ve had clients, I’ve lost clients, and more often than not, the deciding factor comes down to budget. It’s frustrating because I know my worth, I know the results I deliver, but the reality is, businesses have to decide where to allocate their resources, and sometimes, that means cutting back on marketing—even when it’s the very thing they need most.

And honestly, the same struggles exist with RAYVENT. Starting a brand from scratch means everything falls on me—from sourcing the product to building relationships and creating trust with potential customers. I designed these sunglasses with a clear vision, but bringing that vision to life takes more than just creativity. It takes money, strategy, and most importantly, belief that people will see what I see and want to be a part of it. The marketing, the outreach, the effort to get people to not just like the brand but invest in it—it’s a process.

There’s no shortcut to success, and every setback has been a lesson in resilience. I know I’m building something real, something that matters. And even though the road isn’t easy, I’d rather be on this path—challenges and all—than settling for anything less than what I know I’m meant to create.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about TLW Agency & RAYVENT?
At its core, TLW Agency is about storytelling with strategy. I specialize in helping brands, entrepreneurs, and public figures craft compelling digital identities that don’t just exist but truly resonate. From social media management to brand partnerships, my agency focuses on creating meaningful connections between brands and their audiences. What sets TLW Agency apart is the personal touch—I don’t believe in cookie-cutter content. Every brand has a story, and I bring those stories to life in a way that feels intentional, impactful, and aligned with their vision.

Beyond social media management, TLW Agency has cultivated brand partnerships with forward-thinking companies and individuals who are shaping their industries. These partnerships include:
• Nemanja Golubovic & Kale My Name – A visionary in the plant-based culinary world, leading one of the most celebrated vegan restaurants in the country.
• Chaumont Vegan – A premium French-inspired vegan patisserie, where I serve as a brand ambassador, helping to elevate their presence through content creation and storytelling.
• Chef Babette Davis – A powerhouse in the wellness and culinary space, bringing passion and purpose to plant-based cuisine.
• Chef Chris Tucker – A culinary expert redefining plant-based dining with innovation, authenticity, and bold flavors.
• Dr. Shabnam Islam – A leader in holistic health and wellness, pioneering integrative approaches to well-being.

Each collaboration represents a shared commitment to innovation, authenticity, and impact, and I’m honored to be part of their journeys.

Then there’s RAYVENT, my expansion into fashion. RAYVENT isn’t just about sunglasses—it’s about a bold perspective, a statement, a moment. It’s a brand that represents confidence, individuality, and storytelling through style. And the most rewarding part? Seeing people embrace it. RAYVENT has already gained support from some incredible names, including Kim Kardashian, La La Anthony, and Oxlade—people who understand what it means to move with confidence and set trends rather than follow them.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the authenticity behind both TLW Agency and RAYVENT. Nothing I create is surface-level or just for the sake of being trendy. My work is about connection, whether it’s through the digital space or through fashion. I want readers to know that both of my brands were built with intention—whether you need a social media strategist who actually understands how to elevate your brand or sunglasses that make you feel like the main character, I’ve created something for you.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
The best advice I can give to anyone just starting out is trust yourself, even when it feels like no one else does yet. It’s easy to get caught up in waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect connection, the perfect amount of confidence—but none of that comes unless you start. You have to be willing to move forward even when things feel uncertain.

One thing I wish I knew when I was starting out is that no one is going to validate your vision for you—you have to do that yourself. There were times I doubted whether I was ready to launch TLW Agency, times when I second-guessed if I could build RAYVENT on my own. But looking back, the only thing standing between me and my success was the hesitation to believe I was capable.

One thing I never struggled with, though, was the business side of things. Before launching my own ventures, I was already handling budgets, logistics, and large-scale production behind the scenes—negotiating with studios, photographers, and models, ensuring everything ran smoothly from concept to execution. That experience gave me a strong foundation in brand management, and it’s something I carry into every project I take on. I understand what it takes to structure, price, and execute with strategy, and that’s been a major advantage in building my own brands.

But something I wish I knew earlier is that even when you have the experience, there’s still an emotional side to building something of your own. Knowing how to run a business and actually running one—where every decision, every risk, every success is on you—is a different kind of challenge. And while having the skillset is one thing, believing in your ability to navigate the unknown is just as important.

What I will say, though, is be patient with yourself. There will be setbacks, challenges, and moments where you question everything, but if your vision is strong enough, you’ll find a way to keep going. Just start. Keep building. The right people will see it, and the right opportunities will come.
