Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Johnson.
Hi Taylor, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am a 14 years old entrepreneur from Albany, GA. I started my business October 16, 2020…. at first things was pretty hard for 2-3 months I wasn’t making as many sales as I wanted too. I was depressed at the time didn’t want to go out just wanted to stay in. Two months later, my mom had a talk with me she said something I will never forget, “all businesses start small you just have to be patient God is going to make it happen”… then I decided it was time to get up get going if I really want to get where I need to be. I started posting more of what my business is about, which is a lash line mainly scrunchies and other exciting things. My business started going up the down but I didn’t give up. I just remembered what my mother told me be patient.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I was going through depression, I wasn’t making the amount of sales I wanted to make, people were speaking down on me, and people were saying that I’m not going to make it as a businesswoman.
We’ve been impressed with Taylor’s Galaxy, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is all about beauty, I have luxurious lashes, scrunchies, fur ball keychains, necklaces, female boxers, and etc., things that ladies or men are going to love and will want to continue shopping with me.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is seeing my customers happy and proving the people that doubted me wrong.
