Today we’d like to introduce you to sayeh goel
Hi sayeh , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey in speech pathology traces back to my childhood, sparked by a profound love for children and a fascination with communication. As I delved into my studies, I became increasingly aware of the significant impact communication challenges can have, particularly on children and their families. This realization ignited a passion within me to bridge this gap and offer a more personalized approach to therapy.
Recognizing a need for a different kind of speech therapy, I founded SG Speech Therapy with a vision to create a nurturing and supportive environment for families seeking services. It was important for me to establish a space where families felt safe and cared for, where their needs were truly understood and met with compassion.
Throughout my journey in this field, my dedication has always been to provide holistic care that addresses the needs of the entire family. Each day presents an opportunity for growth and learning, and I am grateful for the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of the families I have the privilege to work with.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey certainly had its bumps along the way. Initially, I found myself working within practices where children often felt like just another number, leaving me with a sense of guilt, burnt out and disconnected from what I believed being a speech therapist was truly about. It was a tough realization to grapple with.
Driven by a deep sense of intuition and a desire to create a more meaningful experience for both families and therapists alike, I took a leap of faith and decided to start seeing clients independently. However, transitioning from being an employee to an entrepreneur brought its own set of challenges, especially considering my lack of business background.
Despite these hurdles, my passion for creating meaningful relationships and tangible differences in the lives of children and their families kept me going. It was this passion that fueled the rapid and beautiful growth of my business, reminding me every day of the importance of holistic, compassionate care in our field.
We’ve been impressed with SG Speech Therapy, Inc. , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is the power of patience and trust in the process. I’ve come to realize that things unfold in their own time and in their own unique way. It’s tempting to want to rush or control every aspect of our journey, but I’ve learned that true growth and fulfillment come from embracing the journey as it unfolds, with all its twists and turns.
Trusting the process has taught me to have faith in myself, in others, and in the greater forces at play. It’s about letting go of the need for immediate results and instead focusing on putting in the work, staying open to opportunities, and believing that everything will fall into place when the time is right.
This lesson has brought me a sense of peace and resilience, allowing me to navigate challenges with grace and to celebrate successes with humility as I navigate the private practice world. It’s a reminder to stay present, to stay grounded, and to have faith that the journey is leading me exactly where I need to be.
