Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachelle Carson
Hi Rachelle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
LILY + MIEL’s story began with a deep passion for natural skincare. I always wanted to create a skincare brand that not only offers effective products but creates a sense of self-love and confidence. With the combination of natural, high-quality ingredients and a focus on sustainability, I set out to create LILY + MIEL, a brand that I hope inspires our customers to embrace their individuality and enhance their natural beauty.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This journey definitely has not always been smooth sailing. Building a skincare brand from the ground up comes with its share of challenges, from navigating the complexities of product formulation to finding the right distribution channels. There’s so much to learn along the way, and we’re continuously evolving as a company. One of the most crucial aspects of our growth has been listening to our customers. We have had mostly positive feedback luckily, and that has been our biggest motivator on this journey. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that what we create can make a real difference, and that keeps us pushing to improve our products.
We’ve been impressed with LILY + MIEL, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When developing products for LILY+MIEL, the core principle that guided us is our dedication to naturally driven skincare. We prioritize clean formulations, free from harmful toxins and chemicals. We always want to ensure that our products not only enhance the skin’s appearance but contribute to its overall health. Our inspiration comes from combining traditional skincare with the backing of scientific research. Our products not only deliver visible results but promote well-being.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I believe like most Angelenos, the almost always sunny weather is what really makes it hard to want to be anywhere else. There is truly nowhere like it- the palm trees, the hills. It’s just a short drive from the beach, the mountains or the desert. The energy here is so unique; everyone has their own vibe, they are creative and inspirational. There’s always something happening around every corner. Now, getting to these places, even just around the corner, usually needs a thought out plan as the traffic here is horrendous. With time, you learn to manage!
