Hi Nina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I first started in aesthetics in 2014, right after finishing PA school. My first role was at a high-volume, fast-paced medical spa that prioritized profit over patient care. As a new provider, I didn’t know what to expect—but I quickly realized it wasn’t the kind of environment I wanted to grow in.
After six months, I was fortunate to join a talented plastic surgeon in Orange County, where I was given the opportunity to build the nonsurgical side of the practice. It was there that I truly learned the value of patient trust, meaningful connections, and delivering beautiful, safe outcomes.
Then COVID hit and medical spas, like most other businesses, were closed. It was during this time that I really reflected on what I wanted for my future. I loved what I was doing, but I wanted something more—something that felt more aligned with who I was. While the office I was in was incredible, it leaned heavily medical, which sometimes made patients feel anxious.
That’s when that the idea EverGlow Aesthetics was born—a space I envisioned as warm, luxurious, and deeply personal. A place where exceptional patient care meets a relaxed, welcoming energy. Where patients can feel like they’re catching up with an old friend—fun, lighthearted, yet always professional.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
2024 was one of the most challenging years of my journey. While five months pregnant with my second baby, I had to completely rebuild my team from the ground up. What was once a team of five quickly became just me and my manager—who was also pregnant and preparing for maternity leave. Going from a well-oiled, efficient operation to starting back at square one was a humbling, eye-opening experience. It was a season that tested me in every way—but ultimately created meaningful growth. Today, I’m incredibly proud of the team we’ve built: a talented, driven, and personable group of women who truly represent everything EverGlow Aesthetics stands for. What once felt like a setback became the foundation for something stronger, more intentional, and deeply aligned with my vision. The experience reconnected me to my purpose, shifted my mindset, and reminded me of the resilience required to be a strong leader.
As you know, we’re big fans of EVERGLOW AESTHETICS. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
EverGlow Aesthetics is a boutique medical spa that specializes in natural, subtle refinements – so you look like the best version of YOU. When I first entered into the aesthetic industry 10 years ago, there were so many unnatural results. People were chasing every line, cheek fillers were overdone, and Kylie Jenner lips were the hot new trend. I knew that was not my demographic – I wanted to make my patients look refreshed and never overdone.
What do you specialize in / what are you known for?

The most important lesson I’ve learned is that owning a business is not for the faint of heart—but if you’re clear on your vision and truly committed to it, you can accomplish anything. It takes grit, belief, and immense dedication to the mission you set from day one. Stay aligned with that purpose, and even through the toughest moments, things will begin to fall into place.
