Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Fabian.
Hi Nicole, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I decided to launch my own business as an Intuitive, Reiki Practitioner, Education and Family Consultant in April of 2021. I had spent the year before giving free intuitive readings to make sure that I was supposed to share my gifts with others. After receiving confirmation, validation, and encouragement, I decided to offer sessions online. I decided to offer Education and Family Consultation along with readings because education and working with children has been my expertise. I have spent the last 21 years in education as a Special Education Teacher and Behavior Consultant, specifically working with students with significant social-emotional and behavioral needs and Autism. My passion from the age of 11 was to be a Special Education Teacher. This passion has shifted as I have watched the education system struggle to keep up with the current needs of our children. Yearning to support my students and myself as we navigated through the pandemic and other societal changes led me to look closely at the tools that are available to help us all. My intuitive gifts have played an important role in my career in education but there is only so much you can do within the school system. Most recently, I have become Reiki I and II certified and now offer Reiki as well. I believe my business will continue to build many layers and offer a variety of services that will bring love, healing and tools to clients with a variety of needs and interests.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road and it has taught me so much along the way. My path may continue to have bumps at times but I know my mindset has a lot to do with how things will unpack. I have learned when I am open to receive and I am clear with my intentions the abundance of clients, appointments and opportunities come charging in. When I get caught up with things that don’t serve my highest good or I am not setting boundaries or I am overextending myself, I notice everything will freeze. The appointments aren’t being booked, self-doubt comes in and it is my signal to reevaluate where I want to put my time and energy. As I move forward, I am going to continue to be intentional and clear with how I would like my business to succeed. With the right intentions and coming from a place of love, I am certain I will build a business that serves the highest good to all concerned.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am an Intuitive, I offer readings that connect my clients to their angels, guides and loved ones. I have been given a gift to be a conduit that relays messages to clients seeking guidance or comfort. I have helped people find power in their decision-making, connect with past loved ones, get information from their pets, clear out unwanted energy from their homes and businesses. I am also a certified Reiki I and II practitioner. I have offered Reiki sessions alone or along with a reading. All my services can take place online or in person. Sessions are just as powerful from a great distance online as they are in person. I also offer Education or Family Consultation for families looking for tools and supports to be implemented into their home lives. In the near future, I hope to offer support groups for parents and guardians that focus on a variety of topics such as how to support your child with transitions and college or career readiness, information sessions on special education services, and groups for parents with a child new to the LGBTQ community.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk taking didn’t seem to be encouraged growing up. I wasn’t surrounded by many people who took big risks. It appeared to bring my family comfort if we lived within the “norm”, had a sense of security and safety within what they could control. I look at risk taking as stepping out of my comfort zone, putting myself out there with transparency and allowing others to see my true authentic self. As I age, I feel my desire to take more risks has increased. It felt like a big risk announcing my business to my friends and family as an intuitive. The metaphysical world is becoming more mainstreamed but within my community, there are few people who speak openly about being a psychic medium. It seems easier at times to hide behind the word intuitive rather than call myself a psychic medium. I think fear of rejection and past life wounding impacts the ability to talk freely about our spiritual gifts. I have found It is much easier to share my gifts with clients than with my family. When we don’t feel we will be accepted it tends to keep us from opening up and taking risks. My desire is to build confidence and self-love so I will no longer seek approval from outside sources but will find love and acceptance within myself.
