Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Guzman.
Hi Natalia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in El Salvador, came to the USA when I was 19 years old. A few years later, I started working for a prominent Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon as an administrative assistant. That is when my passion for aesthetics began. In 2013 I got my Nursing degree from Los Angeles County College of Nursing, this has been one of my proudest and greatest accomplishments. Two years after becoming a nurse, I had the pleasure and honor to meet and begin working with Dr. Kian Karimi at Rejuva Medical Aesthetics. We have been working side by side since 2016.
My mission as an aesthetic nurse injector is to provide my patients with the latest and greatest treatments in the aesthetic world. I am dedicated to safe, effective, and natural outcomes. I am a national trainer for 3 of the largest esthetic companies in the US market. Education is a passion of mine, and I enjoy educating other providers in the latest techniques and newest products in the US market.
I consider myself so fortunate and lucky to be in the field of aesthetics, it is a very demanding and ever changing field and I love it.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being an aesthetic nurse injector has been the best thing I could have done for my nursing career. I love everything about it. However, now more than ever it has become a very competitive and demanding field. The aesthetic world evolves on a daily basis. Dedicating countless hours to my education and career development is one of my daily priorities. It requires long and exhausting hours and being away from my family and working long hours and weekends quite often is difficult. I am very lucky that my family is always so supportive and encourages me because they know it is my passion.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I have worked and trained alongside some of the most accomplished cosmetic surgeons and esthetic injectors in the world and that has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist. I believe the consultation and pre-treatment discussion is key to developing a personalized plan that allows both me and my patients to be fully invested in their care from beginning to end.
I focus on providing each patient the ultimate combination of incredible skill, offering the latest techniques, and my innate artistry creating natural and youthful outcomes. I specialize in Sculptra Aesthetic injections and PDO Threads.
In addition, I regularly hosts private group and one-on-one trainings for licensed aesthetic practitioners tailored to specific areas of focus and educational goals.
Rejuva Medical Aesthetics we offer the most advanced techniques in plastic surgery and non-invasive cosmetic treatments. Our objective is to meet and exceed all expectations so that when you walk through our doors, you know your experience will be second to none.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I’ve always loved dogs and anything related with medical. I’ve had dogs and cats ever since I can remember. I thought at some point of becoming a veterinarian but decided to go into nursing instead. I am a very social and outgoing person and love human interaction. During my nursing school years I truly enjoyed getting to meet my patient, helping them and educating them on their healing journey. Now as an aesthetic nurse practitioner, I get to help people in different way, I get to help them feel better about themselves and provide them with confidence to be able to take on the world
