Hi Luz, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I developed a love for coffee at a young age. Clemen Coffee Co. is named after my Abuela Clementina, the first entrepreneurial woman I knew.
To me, sharing a warm cup of coffee is more than just enjoying a drink, it’s a meaningful moment shared between people.
I wanted my company to reflect the details that matter most to me. At Clemen Coffee Co., we only offer premium organic ingredients.
Owning a coffee business has been a long-time dream of mine. As a single mother to a beautiful boy, I had to find a way to make it a reality.
Starting a catering business was the perfect step for me, though I still aspire to open the storefront I’ve always dreamed of one day.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was challenging to find the perfect cart, so I decided to build my own by using maple, oak, and plywood. The project took about a month to finish, as I wanted everything to be just right. After finishing the cart I was able to shift my focus to selecting the ideal beans and perfecting every syrup!
