Hi Justin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
All praise to the most high God first and foremost. I wouldn’t be in the position that I’m in today if God didn’t allow me to prevail through life’s tests and tribulations. As a child, my family would feed my mind with love and affirmations that I wouldn’t be able to decipher until the past 5 years of life. The words and the way that I was treated would go on to help mold the perception I have for myself. I was always told that I was strong, intelligent, composed, and a leader. I now understand that my purpose and choice of lifestyle embodies everything that the elders in my family previously prophesied. I now wake up every day with intentions to become the greatest version of myself in every aspect of life, and to lead others by example to do the same for themselves. I am grateful to God to possess the strength and will to be able to actively turn my dreams into my into my reality.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would love to say that the road to the present has been smooth, but at the same time it was exactly what it needed to be for my life to get to this point. It took a multitude of setbacks to obtain the mindset and attitude towards life that I have now. Injury, death, heartbreak, betrayal, and many other “negative” things in life that all of us go through are apart of my journey. The most important takeaway for me is the mindset that we acquire through all of these life tests. We are human, and of course we feel pain. However, what we choose to do with that pain, I believe, shapes our spirits and character. We can easily become what we have gone through and have a scorn outlook on life. On the other end of the spectrum, we also have the ability to use that pain as a catalyst for something bigger than we even imagine. Struggle is just an opportunity to triumph over doubt and fear, which in the end makes us stronger than ever.

To The Top. I founded the brand in the year 2021 with the vision of helping people accomplish new heights and break through potential barriers. To The Top is a mindset ensuring that whenever applying yourself to any task, it is performed with the utmost efficiency, elegance, and ambitious drive. I am a graduate from CSUSB with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis of Exercise Science; continuing education in Health, Wellness, and Nutrition. To become the highest version of oneself, I believe that our focus should be on the dimensions of wellness being the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and financial dimensions of wellness. To The Top represents never being satisfied no matter what level of mastery is achieved. Anyone can learn and grow at any level as long as the proper amount of time and preparation is intentionally applied. To The Top is a village of like minded individuals that have the opportunity and capability of developing mindful athletes/people through the power of tranquility, tenacity, and timelessness from God.
Health and wellness is often categorized as being primarily physical. Although it’s true, it’s also imperative that we acknowledge that there are multiple dimensions of health and wellness which supplement one another to create a lifestyle of discipline and overall wellness. To The Top represents the timeless practice of developing physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial wellness through consistency and relentlessness.
Our mission is to live a life of peace and flow while being able to adapt and conquer any adversity that we may encounter. We are here to motivate and inspire generations with God given wisdom that we have been blessed to receive. Stay true to yourself, remember where you came from, and reach back when you make it
We offer coaching services that entail overall health and wellness, nutrition, training, mindset building, as well as lifestyle coaching. Along with those we also have clothing to represent everything we stand for and to build a community of like minded individuals.
What makes you happy?
God brings me joy because through the trenches and on top of mountains in life he has always been there to guide me to the path he needs me to walk. Even when I thought I was alone, and even when I ran away from him he was still surrounding me with his grace and love. Through him, my family and loved ones fulfilling their lifetime desires and dreams brings me joy. The rest is simple and caters to every version of myself. Hoop, training, food, and being outside makes me feel most alive.
