Hi Jessica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am the Founder and Managing Attorney of Consumer Law Experts, PC, in Los Angeles, California; better known as the Lemon Law Experts (www.lemonlawexperts.com). The Lemon Law Experts is one of the nation’s largest lemon law firms. For over a decade, i.e., since 2009, I have focused my practice on Lemon Law by protecting the rights of consumers who have purchased or leased defective vehicles.
What started out as one attorney (me) in 2009 has grown to over 16 attorneys strong who actively and solely practice California lemon law. The Lemon Law Experts is the trusted name in California for vehicle lemon law claims. My team has helped thousands of consumers recover millions of dollars in refunds and cash compensation from major auto manufacturers for their defective vehicles statewide.

I graduated cum laude with degrees in philosophy and political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. I also hold a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University and I earned my law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. I have been admitted to practice in California since 2007 and I am a certified California mediator.
Since founding Consumer Law Experts, PC my team and I have been involved in various high-profile cases fighting on behalf of our consumer clients against powerful automotive companies.
Along with founding, operating, and managing the Lemon Law Experts, I am also the co-founder and Managing Director of LawLinq, Inc., a California State Bar Certified Lawyer Referral and Information Service (www.lawlinq.com).
In addition to being an active attorney and diversified entrepreneur, I am also active in my local legal community.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being an entrepreneur and owning/operating your own business is the antithesis of a smooth road! If it was a smooth road, you’re definitely doing something wrong! Struggles, which I like to call ‘hurdles,’ present daily. The key to my success has been extreme discipline, drive, ambition, and a positive attitude all culminating together.
Hurdles present themselves all the time. For me, what works is implementing fast and effective solutions that enable me to clear the hurdles with steadfastness and grace.
Owning and operating a law firm of this size is not for the faint of heart. It is coupled with much sacrifice and setbacks. I work 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. There is no ‘time off.’ The most significant resource required has been my time. I have sacrificed time with my family, lost friendships, and given up engaging in personal activities I enjoy to pursue my professional goals.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Commitment to excellence. Setting goals and making it a practice and point to exceed them. In order to lead, you must embrace challenges, obstacles, failure and take these head-on. There is zero procrastination. You must focus on moving forward at all times and staying ahead, be pro-active, not reactive, and stay ten steps ahead at all times. Enjoy the now at the same time as preparing for tomorrow. Never be satisfied and constantly push yourself harder to achieve more each day. Set goals and crush them. Set new goals and crush those too. Hire people smarter than you, who know more than you, and who share a similar vision and ideals as you. Be grateful, appreciate, and acknowledge all who are on your team.
