Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeramie Bellmay.
Hi Jeramie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born in a small Connecticut town in the 80s, a place that never quite knew what to make of a dreamer like me. In hindsight, the constant friction of going against the grain taught me how to bring dreams into reality with a sense of practicality and purpose. That lesson became essential and invaluable.
My life as an artist started by scouring the streets for discarded objects to transform them into small treasures, and over the years, I found my way to every medium and tool I could get my hands on. Professionally, this led me into crafting custom work for clients across industries, presenting my work in galleries, creating immersive experiences, and pushing students closer to their master works. Every moment has been an opportunity for creation and collaboration, but It wasn’t until I discovered metal casting and began working with precious materials that I truly found my voice as an artist. All of this serves as a prelude to my work as an astrologer. Astrology has always woven its way through my life, but in 2020, it truly took root and I began studying it professionally. For me, nothing compares to experiencing its power firsthand. This ancient system has the ability to reframe your entire perception of self and reality, and the clarity it has brought me is undeniable.
My approach to the art of interpreting the stars is deeply rooted in the years I’ve spent in a studio creating. That time taught me how to listen, to understand how each medium communicates and transforms, both internally and physically. This same attentiveness and respect for process now informs how I read and translate celestial patterns into meaningful guidance. While I will always be an artist and creator, I consider myself a creative consultant who uses a celestial toolset to help people not only envision their dreams but also develop practical pathways to bring them to life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smooth? If my life were a road it would be washed out cobble stone. There has been no shortage of challenges, but for me, challenges demand creativity and that excites me. I feel like what has been smooth is my belief in myself to always find solutions to rise above, while also staying humble and understanding that difficulty and challenge are part of growth. When faced head-on, they temper the soul and bring meaning to life.

My business, Astronumen, is a holistic studio that fuses astrology, creative consulting, events, and talismanic tools into one cohesive ecosystem. We offer one-on-one astrology readings, creative consulting, and development for businesses, artists, and anyone seeking fresh insight. We also design and host astrology-themed parties and corporate events, creating immersive experiences that bring cosmic storytelling to groups large and small. We recently soft-launched our education program, including foundational classes and playful, interactive workshops like Astrology as Creative Prompt, which opens astrology to both beginners and seasoned seekers. For those who want to carry the magic with them, we’ve also curated a unique pop-up shop filled with hand‑held crystals, ritual tools, talismanic jewelry, and sculptural decor, all selected or handcrafted to support intuitive practice and transformation.
Up next, we’re excited to present a 3-hour workshop, Cozmotion, held at The Crooked Path in Burbank on September 3rd, which explores how to use astrological dice as a creative and intuitive tool for guidance, reflection, and symbolic storytelling. Participants will learn the core symbols of astrology, the planets, signs, and houses and how to interpret their interactions to tune into clear and meaningful messages.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
The best way I’ve found to connect with mentors and build meaningful networks is to start by doing something your heart is truly invested in. For me it seems like at every pivotal moment, a matriarch would appear, offering just enough belief, support, and resource to propel me toward whatever wild direction had captured my attention. Seek out environments that attract people who are just as passionate about your niche. You’ll naturally cross paths with like-minded people, some of whom may become mentors, collaborators, or guides along the way.
