Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaime Love
Jaime, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I feel like I’ve lived a million lives with all the amazing opportunities I’ve had. Initially, I wanted to be an emergency room surgeon, but later learned it wasn’t my true calling. I then transitioned into the fashion industry, immersing myself in roles in sales and merchandising for a few years. During that time, I opened a lounge bar in the heart of Toronto, which quickly became one of the city’s “cool places” to be. I met many amazing people and had the privilege of working in production, where my creative instincts flourished. I produced photo shoots for top fashion brands and commercials.
Upon relocating to LA, I collaborated closely with a modeling agency, hiring their models for the photo shoots I organized. Eventually, they approached me with an offer to become an agent. After initially declining the offer multiple times, I finally accepted, marking the beginning of my career as an agent.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As an agent, I’ve encountered my fair share of ups and downs, yet overall, I’ve thoroughly relished this journey. The dynamic nature of my days ensures that the job is never dull
We’ve been impressed with Love Talent Corp, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the owner of Love Talent Corp, which has been successfully operating for nearly 3 years. Prior to founding Love Talent, I co-owned a highly successful boutique agency for 7 years. With 18 years of experience as an agent, I cherish every moment of my work. Our agency represents a diverse range of talent, spanning from infants to individuals over 70 years old, specializing in print, commercial, and TV/film. We are fortunate to have three dedicated agents, each focusing on different departments. I am grateful for our exceptional staff, whom I trust wholeheartedly. At Love Talent, we take pride in maintaining a small roster, which allows us to forge deeper personal connections with our talent and better advocate for them in the industry.
