Today we’d like to introduce you to Hailey Payne.
Hi Hailey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I received my Esthetician license in Feb 2018 and started working at small salons and spas around the area. While i was working at these salons, my dad, who is a carpenter, built me a little studio out of our garage so i can start up my own business! Slowly, i started building up my clientele and eventually was able to start my own spa in Riverside!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Running your own business has its ups and downs. It’s never a 9-5 and then you get to clock out. It’s more of a 24/7 job and you never stop thinking about whats next. I think thats what i struggle with the most is finding work/ life balance.
We’ve been impressed with EO Tan and Spa, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a spa that offers airbrush tanning, facials, waxing, and lash services! I have been an Esthetician for about 8 years and love perfecting my craft! I love having a safe space for my clients to relax, vent or just take time for themselves within their busy lives, all of my clients are amazing and i have a unique relationship with each and every one of them
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
The best thing that has worked for my business is word of mouth and social media! The relationship and connection you have with your clients says it all.
