Hi Eve, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve been doing nails for over 12 years, but for me it was never just about nails. It started as a way to support myself, and somewhere along the way it became a way to connect with people. I worked my way up managing busy nail salons and helping open locations, learning not only technique but how much guests truly value feeling cared for and seen.

In 2020, I opened Eve’s Space, a private nail studio in downtown Los Angeles. I wanted to create something different from the traditional salon experience a calm, clean, appointment-only space where people could slow down, feel safe, and genuinely relax. Cleanliness, atmosphere, and intention matter deeply to me, so every detail of the studio reflects that care.

Today, Eve’s Space has grown into more than a business. Many of my clients have become long-term friendships, and I’m now building a small team while also creating content that shares the real life behind being a nail artist, the conversations, creativity, and human moments that happen across the table. My goal has always been simple: help people feel confident, comfortable, and taken care of, one set of nails at a time

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many small business owners, I built everything from the ground up without shortcuts. One of the biggest challenges was transitioning from working inside busy nail salons to believing I could create my own space and do things differently.

Opening Eve’s Space in 2020 came with uncertainty, especially during a time when the beauty industry was facing shutdowns and constant change. There were moments of financial stress, long working hours, and learning how to wear every hat at once artist, manager, marketer, cleaner, and business owner.

Another challenge has been educating clients about a different kind of nail experience. I focus heavily on cleanliness, natural nail health, and a calm private atmosphere, which sometimes means moving away from fast salon expectations. Building trust and helping people understand the value of that took time.

Personally, balancing motherhood, personal growth, and entrepreneurship has also been a learning process. But every challenge pushed me to become more intentional, not just about business, but about how I show up for my clients and my community.

Looking back, those struggles shaped Eve’s Space into what it is today: a space built on resilience, care, and genuine human connection.
