Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Nima Naghshineh
Hi Dr. Nima, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey into the heart of plastic surgery began as a child and is rooted in the rich cultural
heritage and tight knit Persian community I grew up in, which included many surgeons and physicians who
were friends of my family. Their mastery of such an extensive set of skills and the confidence
these doctors instilled in their patients inspired what became my passion for medicine, and
eventually plastic surgery.
Today, I’m deeply proud to say that I operate my own prestigious clinic in Pasadena, California,
and my patients have come to know me for my impeccable and undetectable results. I’m
fortunate to serve many different patients in my practice; from A-list celebrity clients who seek
judiciously applied techniques that maintain the integrity of their distinct features, to cancer
patients who looking to restore that which they have lost. It has always been a goal for me
professionally to pioneer a new era of plastic surgery which combines cutting-edge technology
with a deep-rooted understanding of clients who want results that restore, highlight or preserve
their individual beauty.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Dr. Nima Plastic Surgery?
In addition to my specialty in face and body aesthetics, I also have many years as a leading
expert in innovative laser technologies and non-surgical treatments. As a key opinion leader for
trailblazing products like Candela’s Profound RF, MTF’s Renuva Adipose Matrix and most
recently Acclaro Medical’s UltraClear laser, I’ve been able to stay at the forefront of ground-
breaking technology which allows me the ability to offer well-rounded solutions for my patients.
These partnerships have played a pivotal role in the foundation of my practice, and we’ve been
honored with accolades such as being named one of the “Top 10 Plastic Surgeons” by USA
Today and winning “Best Cosmetic Surgeon-2024” in Pasadena Weekly.
Beyond the operating room, I enjoy actively contributing to the future of aesthetic medicine
through my involvement as an innovation consultant for leading aesthetic companies. I
frequently get to collaborate with other industry disruptors to spearhead revolutionary medical
inventions, and I speak in both the U.S. and internationally, where I share my insights in both
surgical and non-surgical innovations.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I’m fortunate to have a patient base that serves a wide range of clientele-from patients in their 20s to
their 70s, whose goals range from focusing on skin health and finely-tuned optimizations to natural-
looking refinement and restoration. My broad spectrum of practice has deeply influenced what
is now my philosophy, “Beauty as you see it”. This ethos is reflected in my commitment to
tailoring every procedure to the individual’s vision and merging advanced techniques with
artistic nuance to achieve natural, enduring results. I look to apply this approach to all my
patients, whether is it a face and neck lift client seeking facial rejuvenation, a breast and body
contouring patient looking to restore or achieve a certain physique, or my nonsurgical clients
looking to maintain or enhance their natural beauty.
My aesthetic practice sees patients from all over the globe, but closer to home I find some of my
most rewarding work, specifically through my role as a breast cancer reconstructive surgeon.
My reconstructive patients find themselves in my office not because they want to be there, but
because they are navigating a cancer diagnosis which is often a long, painful, and traumatic process.
It is an incredible privilege to take that journey with my cancer patients, and helping women
reclaim their body image and confidence post-diagnosis is an honor. Surviving cancer no longer
needs to come at the expense of feeling whole, and education at each step of the way is critical
in allowing patients to make informed decisions about their care. I find that having an active role
in community cancer support groups allows me to share critical information beyond the front
doors of my office, and I’ve chosen to specialize in both primary and revision reconstruction,
which allows me to help as many women in our community as possible.
My personal goal for the future of my practice is to continue pushing the boundaries of
technology and innovation, keeping patient care and unparalleled levels of service at the
forefront. I believe this singular focus has the power to truly mold and reshape the field of
Plastic Surgery as a whole to better serve each and every patient.
