Hi Diane, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hey, I was a full-time mother & I was trying to work a full-time job, every job always fired me because I was late, sometimes I didn’t have a sitter so I couldn’t make it to work. One day a friend of mines did my makeup, I never knew about, but when she did I loved it. So went to Ulta & got almost every shade of makeup and some nice eyeshadow pallets, I start off doing faces for $35. Once I got good I started charging $90 a face. My struggle was eyebrows. They were always to big lol. Eventually, I got it and became great. Then I started selling wigs and doing natural hair.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes, sometimes I have slow days and sometimes I have fast days but I keep pushing. I don’t give up.

I started off as a make-up artist. I specialize in natural hair also, I’m really known for makeup because that’s where I started. What set me aside from others, I’m affordable. I want people to know I do hair, make-up, sell wigs anything a woman needs.
How do you think about happiness?
Seeing my clients smile or laugh when they get out of my chair, and coming home to my kids.
