My journey began with a deep immersion in musical theater from the age of 8. It was during this time that my fascination with makeup blossomed. By the age of 13-14, I had already set my sights on establishing my own makeup brand, drawing inspiration from influential figures like Kylie Jenner and, later, Rihanna. My aspiration was to create a vegan, cruelty-free makeup line, driven by my personal experience of struggling with sensitive skin aggravated by conventional makeup products.
Thus, Era Cosmetics was born, a culmination of years of passion and dedication. After extensive planning and preparation, I proudly launched the brand in October 2023, just before my 20th birthday. The journey leading up to this moment has been one of relentless pursuit, fueled by my desire to provide high-quality makeup solutions for individuals with sensitive skin.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The path I’ve treaded hasn’t been without its bumps. As a perfectionist, I’ve relentlessly pursued perfection, constantly questioning and refining every aspect of my endeavor. This pursuit led me to repeatedly tweak the company’s logos, theme, and packaging in a quest to discover the perfect formula that would resonate with the public. However, this process proved to be both frustrating and challenging.
Financially, the journey has been a test of resilience. Balancing the demands of school, work, and nurturing my company has stretched me thin at times. Yet, despite the hurdles, I’ve persisted, driven by my unwavering commitment to see my vision through to fruition.

Today, I’m proud to say that our perseverance has borne fruit, as evidenced by our significant growth in sales.
