Today we’d like to introduce you to Dannella Lane.
Dannella, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our story is birthed from a divorce and the WILL to want change. My name is Dannella and I’m a single mother of 4 beautifully talented daughters. While going through a divorce and experienced having only .27 in my account and going through a depression. But God had bigger plans for our family. Dani and Dannah were just 5 and 6 when their first video went viral. They’ve had a desire to be on tv since they could speak. Dayla and Dajuel my older daughters are equally talented and in fact call themselves the blueprint to Dani and Dannah. After the girls videos exploded all of the internet which lead to a press tour across the country from the west coast to the east coast drawing fans from Justin Bieber to Steve Harvey and everyone in between young and old the girls had an urgency and calling to Hollywood. After prayer, we decided to drive to La 32 hours to take a chance on us. After visiting for a short period of time literally a week Dani and Dannah booked their first show as siblings on the NBC show Kenan. The girls are flourishing in the entertainment industry as well as Dayla and Dajuel who have grown their footprint as singer songwriters, influencers and actresses. I believe God has called us to ministry and our platforms are used just for that. You can find all of us at any given time spreading the gospel of Jesus, love and hope. As for myself, I’m now an Author of the e-book “Finding your Lane” as well as a public speaker and mentor. We attribute all of our success to God’s grace and encourage everyone to keep moving forward and step out on faith!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
With any chance that you take their obstacles and struggles. But that’s how you learn and grow. There’s been several times when there was no money so we would have to stand in faith for resources. There’s been times when the girls have auditioned for projects and we’re rejected. Those things hurt and can be discouraging but we’ve learned that those things didn’t happen to us but for us in order to grow.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business manages the full-time film/tv, music and brand deals for my 4 daughters. Momager is the term many uses. What sets us apart is our journey to this point has been nothing short of a miracle and evidence of God’s blessings. My family’s goal is to spread the news of Jesus and as a public speaker and teacher that’s exactly what we do!
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Expansion to a full-service management firm while using our influence to educate, inspire and empower children and families all over the world.
