Today we’d like to introduce you to Carli Abiuso.
Hi Carli, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Oh my gosh, it has been a winding path to where I am today! Yet, at the same time, feels like it was destined from the start. From a young age, I was obsessed with fairytales, fantasy, imagination, and the performing arts. I always wanted to bring magic into the real world. My focus in the beginning of my journey was dancing. I studied classical ballet at a strict school in middle school and high school, and then graduated from college with a BA in English Literature. I decided to move to New York City after college to pursue my dance dreams, landed some jobs on television sets, and fell in love with acting again, too. This brought me to Los Angeles, where I got a dance and acting agent, continued to audition, and supported myself with bartending. Something was telling me this path was reaching a dead end, and I was meant for more. To start my own business and inspire people with all I had learned through years of study and exploration of manifestation and the spiritual journey. When everything closed during the pandemic, and there was no work, I really re-evaluated what I wanted and realized I didn’t want to wait anymore for someone else to determine when I “made it.” And that’s when my business, Your Hero’s Quest, was born! I am still living in Los Angeles with an amazing network of friends and colleagues, and I am so grateful for the life I have created.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been anything but a straight, smooth road (as journeys tend to go!) One of the biggest struggles in both my performing arts career and creating my business has been supporting myself financially alongside pursuing my dreams. I would never know when my next gig would be, so I have always bartended to pay the bills and invest in all of my classes and training! I struggled balancing everything in my earlier years, as I was hustling so hard in NYC to make money, I would get burnt out really quickly and had to constantly remind myself why I was living there. For many years, my sole focus was on my career, and things like relationships and being able to visit my family were sacrificed. I still live across the country from my family, which never gets easier! When I first moved to LA, I didn’t know anyone, didn’t have a job, and had to start from the ground up. I’ve had to overcome a lot of limiting beliefs (from myself and others), roadblocks, and obstacles as I forged an unconventional path. I am so proud of myself for always making big, bold moves and trusting myself and the Universe along the way. Even though there have been so many ups and downs, I wouldn’t trade any of it!
We’ve been impressed with Your Hero’s Quest, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Your Hero’s Quest is an online coaching business that is inspiring and helping people to manifest and live their dream lives! I introduce myself as a manifestation coach! I have mastered a manifestation formula that has guaranteed results because it uses unwavering universal laws. Our external reality is a reflection of our internal world — our beliefs, assumptions, and expectations about ourselves and what we can be, do, and have. So, to manifest our desires, we need to shift our internal dialogue and dominant feelings and vibration. I teach this in my various offerings — e-books, masterclasses, and my most current offer — Main Character Era! I’m helping my clients create their ideal, vision board reality and self and leading them in how to bridge the gap from where they are and where they want to be.
What sets me apart from others in this realm is my branding and messaging! I draw on wisdom from myths and legends, particularly the Arthurian Grail stories. This famous quest has inspired my own and continues to teach me and my clients; it is laden with esoteric codes. My brand reflects the magic and romance of that medieval world I have always loved. It calls to people who also love a bit of fantasy and wonder and who want to step into their own heroic role. Life is so much more fun when we see it as a grand adventure or story with us as the main character! I’m never at a loss for content to create around this and am always pouring my creativity into my branding and services.
I also offer private tarot readings for those who need more personalized or specific coaching and advice. My mom taught me tarot when I was very young, and I love using it as another avenue of questing into the subconscious for answers and insight.
It brings me joy every day to help people live out their dreams!
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is love. Living from my heart and following my bliss. Creating. Inspiring others around me to remember their unique magic. Being a beacon of light and healing for myself, my loved ones, and the world. When times seem so dark globally, we often wonder what we can possibly do to change it. We can feel so small and insignificant. But we are anything but — for when the hero saves himself, he saves the world. We are all such an important thread in the grand universal tapestry. And love is the highest vibration there is. Every story reflects that to us, as do our own. So, when we strive for love as our ideal, as our guiding force, it ripples and radiates into everything else and can change the course of the future.
