Today we’d like to introduce you to Bronwyn Leigh Jones.
Hi Bronwyn Leigh, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My career has evolved organically, guided by curiosity, purpose, and service.
I began in Australia in media and television at a young age, which introduced me early to storytelling and the responsibility that comes with having a public platform. That experience led me into sustainability and impact-driven work, where I spent over a decade building Coral Sustain, a boutique consulting firm focused on green technology, wellness real estate, and emerging innovation. Through that work, I helped companies raise capital and scale solutions in areas such as clean water, energy efficiency, and healthy buildings.
Real estate became a natural extension of that journey. It sits at the intersection of lifestyle, capital, and long-term legacy. I began my real estate career with The Oppenheim Group, gaining exposure to high-level transactions and discerning clients in competitive luxury markets.
Today, I have joined a new brokerage in Orange County , CA. as Head of Family Office & Private Clients at Bren & Furstenfeld Estates, where I work closely with private clients and family offices who value discretion, strategic thinking, and trusted long-term advisory. My focus is less on volume and more on stewardship—helping clients and their families make thoughtful decisions that align with their values, goals, and legacy..
Each chapter has built on the last, and at the core of everything I do is integrity, trust, and a genuine desire to be of service.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road, but I believe the challenges are what give the journey meaning.
Much of my career has lived in emerging spaces—sustainability, wellness, and innovation—where there is no clear roadmap. Working with early-stage companies and new technologies requires patience, resilience, and a willingness to hold steady through uncertainty. Not every project succeeds, and not every vision reaches the market, but each experience has offered valuable lessons.
On a personal level, navigating career growth alongside major life transitions, including, divorce and motherhood, has required constant balance and self-awareness. There were moments when progress felt slower than I would have liked, but those seasons taught me the importance of focus, adaptability, and knowing when to recalibrate.
Transitioning into luxury real estate brought its own challenges as well. Earning trust and respect in a new industry—particularly one built on reputation and long-term relationships which I am lucky enough to have nurtured and those relationships will come with me wherever I go.. . I’ve learned that consistency, discretion, and integrity matter far more than speed.
Looking back, the struggles were essential. They shaped my perspective, strengthened my resolve, and ultimately helped me build a career that feels aligned, intentional, and sustainable. The most rewarding relationships are built on trust first and thats when the magic happens it’s how lasting empires are built.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Along with my role as CEO of Coral Sustain, I currently serve as Realtor and Head of Family Office & Private Clients at Bren & Furstenfeld Estates, a firm built on one of the most respected real estate legacies in Southern California. The Bren, Irvine, and Furstenfeld families represent generations of stewardship, vision, and leadership that have helped shape the region’s real estate landscape. Being part of this next chapter is both humbling and deeply meaningful to me.
My role focuses on advising private clients and families who value discretion, strategy, and long-term thinking. Much of my work involves complex, l transactions and legacy properties where trust and confidentiality are essential.
What sets my practice apart is perspective. My background in sustainability, wellness real estate, and emerging technology informs how I evaluate assets—not just for today, but for long-term value and relevance. I approach real estate as a responsibility rather than a transaction.
What I’m most proud of is alignment. Bren & Furstenfeld’s commitment to integrity, heritage, and thoughtful growth mirrors how I work with my clients. Together, we are continuing a legacy while thoughtfully shaping what comes next.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My Father passed away 1 yr ago today . So this is a very emotional question and so timely as I’ve been thinking about my family and my Aussie roots a lot this week. My favorite childhood memories are sitting around our massive family dining room table with my 7 brothers and sisters, eating a big roast dinner and engaging in witty banter while welcoming in many different characters from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Our door was always open, anyone was welcome.. My Dad at the head of the table pouring too much wine in everyone’s glasses ensured interesting conversation and lots of laughter.!
