Today we’d like to introduce you to Avi Scheinbaum
Hi Avi, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I launched my business while working in a marketing role where my main responsibility was to build the brand and boost its visibility. It quickly became clear to me how inefficient it was to have a full-time person dedicated to such a limited level of awareness and activation. This insight led me to the realization that I could offer the same services to multiple brands, achieving similar results while maintaining a manageable workload.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like many small business owners, I constantly juggle finances, clients, and staff. Entrepreneurship is challenging, but I thrive on that challenge, so the struggle is part of the journey for me. COVID hit us hard, especially since our business relied heavily on face-to-face interactions and was forced to shut down. As the primary provider for my family, this was a significant blow. To adapt, I sold my house, bought some time, and used the opportunity to create a new sushi brand and restaurant while enjoying quality time with my kids. It was undeniably stressful and difficult, but I focused on turning adversity into opportunity. Thanks to the strong foundation I built before the pandemic, my business is now thriving more than ever, four years later.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Front & Center Marketing?
We specialize in experiential marketing, focusing on distributing product samples to consumers nationwide. While many companies offer similar services, what sets F&C apart is our comprehensive approach. We work closely with you to develop a tailored program that not only drives sales but also integrates seamlessly with your internal team. Building strong relationships is a core value for us, whether with clients or staff. I strive to ensure that everyone we interact with feels valued and important. Despite being a fully remote team, we maintain a tight-knit, supportive environment where we have each other’s backs and foster a genuine sense of teamwork—a challenging but crucial aspect in today’s world.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
COVID taught us to embrace uncertainty, focus on our strengths, and trust that things will unfold as they’re meant to. After experiencing a complete shutdown, it felt like an incredible gift when our clients began returning.
