Community Highlights: Meet Asia Hilario

Today we’d like to introduce you to Asia Hilario.

Hi Asia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
A childhood abuse survivor turned thriving entrepreneur – Self-Love Coach and Business coach. I help women reach higher self-awareness, uncover hidden mental blocks, release self-judgment, and quiet inner and outer critics so that they can live a life of fulfillment and develop a love for themselves that knows no limits).

As a childhood abuse survivor, I’ve developed PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I was able to turn my life around and wanted to help others to do the same – so I started a blog writing about tips and tools that helped me with my journey. Six months later, I was awarded the 2019 Woman of the Year award by Women on the Rise – for the lives that I impacted through my blog.

From there, I launched my life coaching business a year later and was able to leave my 9-5 12 weeks later to be a full-time coach. A few months into coaching, I launched my podcast and on its launch day, it landed top #65 on Apple podcasts in my genre. From there it topped the charts in countries like the Philippines, Nigeria, Australia, Canada, Brazil, and Qatar

I am a humanitarian – I spend my free time giving back to underserved communities and was a former Crisis Counselor for Crisis Textline.

In only a year into my entrepreneurship, I was named Yahoo! Finance’s 10 Empowerment Coaches to watch in 2021. I’ve been featured in:
Soleish Magazine
The Spiritual GoGetter Magazine
FierceGirl Co
Marianas Variety Newspaper
Saipan Tribune
Yahoo!Finance

and have hosted many workshops for companies on Mental Health.

My upbringing: Born and raised on the tiny island of Saipan (a 10 mile by 13 mile island in the Pacific). My dad was a pizza boy when I moved to America as a preteen, we came from poverty and I was able to rewrite my story.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a childhood abuse survivor, I had extremely low self-esteem and lots of self-doubt and unworthiness. I’ve really had to uproot limiting beliefs that were engrained in me from my childhood – from parental, societal, and patriarchal conditioning that didn’t serve me.

Launching my own business was like holding up a mirror to myself – I had to face a lot of inner work in order to have a successful, thriving business.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a Self-Love Coach, Business Coach, and Women Empowerment podcaster

I help women reach higher self-awareness, uncover hidden mental blocks, release self-judgment, and quiet inner and outer critics so that they can live a life of fulfillment and develop a love for themselves that knows no limits. Majority of my clients are daughters of immigrants.

I think my story really sets me apart from others. I came from nothing and was able to rewrite my story. My clients really resonate with my 12-week program and its content because it was made from the heart and from my own personal experiences.

I specialize in finding hidden limiting beliefs in my client’s subconscious programming – ones they were unable to find themselves. I specialize in finding the root cause of their behavior, thoughts, actions – and then we recreate a different “programming” for them so that they can live a life on their own terms and a life of inner peace.

I currently have a 12-week self-love program, and an Inner Child Healing online course. As a business coach, I help women get past their self-doubt and help them build confidence in their business.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Re-defining what “failure” means to me. The word failure used to have a negative connotation, but changing its definition is the reason I’m able to be gritty in my business.

I love to fail. I fail forward.

I’m okay with making mistakes and making them in front of people.
