Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve worked in the beauty industry for over ten years creating exceptional results for other major brands. Being an entrepreneur at heart, I learned as much as I could from industry leaders and mentors before creating my own line. My vision was to make luxurious products that were inspired from my heritage. This project is so dear to my heart that I envisioned symbolic items from my Armenian culture and how it has inspired me through my life. Anna Marti Cosmetics established itself as a luxury cosmetics brand with our starting collection of 3d mink eyelashes.
When creating the new line of colors, nothing spoke louder to me than our cultures fruit, Noor also known as pomegranate. This rich, flavorful fruit-inspired me to create the perfect shade of red that would be perfect for any occasion. Filled with delicious ingredients and vitamins, Noor will provide lasting color and a flawless velvet finish. I created Noor during unpredictable times. Besides the pandemic, my country was facing cultural difficulties and turmoil. I thought to myself, how can I give back to a country and culture that has shaped me into who I am today. Then it came to me, when purchasing Noor lipstick, AMC will donate a portion of the proceeds back to wounded soldiers who have put their lives on the line so that we can continue to call Armenia our home. Forever grateful, I know that when anyone who will put on the color Noor will not only feel confident and beautiful but also know that they’ve helped in bigger ways than imaginable. With that being said, I’m so happy to introduce the other shades of my luxurious, affordable cruelty-free lip products to you.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to success is never smooth. An idea and concept can be great on paper but when you try to execute there are always unexpected issues that arise. A successful entrepreneur doesn’t throw in the towel when things get tough. When I knew I needed to work on my website, I knew I couldn’t do it myself and needed to find great team to work with and help me build my vision. Focus on the things you are good at and find help to support the areas that are weak!

I am the CEO of Anna Marti Cosmetics a luxury cosmetics line and we specialize in natural, cruelty-free products that are designed with one concept in mind, “empowering anyone who wants it”. We want everyone to obtain that perfect Hollywood red carpet looks without breaking their bank.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I’ve always had mentors in my life growing up and you learn so much from other people. You always learn something new that you wouldn’t have thought of yourself. It’s always best to learn from other people’s experiences that have been in the industry longer than you. Always approach things with an open mind and you will be pleasantly surprised by the things you learn!
