Today we’d like to introduce you to Andy Tae

Andy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
CMC was established through our experience in sales. My cousin, our CEO Ken Tang, introduced sales to me when I was still 16 years old. I was fresh out of high school but I didn’t know where to go or what to do. Mindlessly knowing, I tagged along with Ken during his work in the field and have grown to learn about what he does. Eventually, when I reached the right legal age, I was doing sales myself, going door to door and the rest was history. We built CMC to help young entrepreneurs grow in their sales careers and partner with Fortune 500 companies such as DirecTV and several telecom companies to help business owners with their phone, internet, and TV services. The company was then built to help people and now, 9 years later, it is still carrying out its promise, with bigger teams, bigger campaigns, and more reach.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building and maintaining a company are two difficult tasks. The work does not only start and end with building, the real job comes in when you have to maintain the quality and improve in the process. There were a lot of bumps from back office management to installation, to sales and most especially attracting and maintaining quality sales reps. In a people company like ours, the struggles require a lot of patience.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Cornerstone Marketing Concepts, LLC?

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Being in a good mental and physiological state makes me happy. And factors that affect that for me are my family, friends, and our business. That’s why I make it a practice to share my knowledge and learnings from various talks with my family, friends, and people in the business. What also makes me happy is growing to be the best version of myself and leading people to be on the personal development path.
