Hi Alyssa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
NOVA Essence Inside Out was started in 2020, I found that the candle-making process helped me escape from reality and relieve stress during the height of the pandemic. I continued making candles and wanted to extend this stress-relieving experience to everyone by having individuals experience the therapeutic aromas of NOVA candles and mists. After the creation of NOVA Essence Inside Out, we dedicated ourselves to providing self-care essentials for others to add to their self-care routine. We pride ourselves in being a self-care destination, inspiring individuals to feel good inside and out.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Outreach and consistency has been a challenge that NOVA faces. During the time the business was launched until recently, I was occupied with school and adjusting to working full-time in corporate. Despite the time constraints and challenges faced NOVA meant a lot to me and had a purpose of helping others carve out time for their self-care routine. Due to my determination, I kept NOVA going rather than giving up when things got hard to manage.
As you know, we’re big fans of NOVA Essence Inside Out. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
All the products made are handmade and all-natural. We use soy wax for the candles and chemical-free fragrances for all of our products which include the aromatherapy mists and body butters.
NOVA Essence Inside Out sets itself apart by building a positive community by encouraging the use of I Am Affirmations. We recently launched our I Am collection which aligns with our goal to provide self-care. One part of self-care is how you speak to yourself. We decided that encouraging others to speak to themselves positively through affirmations is beneficial for mental and physical well-being of individuals; this is what sets NOVA apart.
