Check Out Tyrisha Johnson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyrisha Johnson.

Hi Tyrisha , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into entrepreneurship started in Los Angeles, where I worked as a model. Being in that world sparked my love for beauty, wellness, and intentional living. I eventually launched my own brand, creating handcrafted body butters, face washes, and candles that promote self-care and a sense of calm. While I was passionate about the products, the growth wasn’t as fast as I had hoped. That challenge pushed me to pivot and tap into another creative passion—food. I launched a catering business centered around charcuterie, offering beautifully styled grazing tables and a unique mobile charcuterie cart. It’s been an incredible way to combine my love for aesthetics, hospitality, and bringing people together.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road being an entrepreneur comes with constant challenges. There have been times where I’ve gone 24 hours or more without sleep, working nonstop to create products and meet deadlines. One of the hardest parts is the personal sacrifice. The people you love can sometimes feel neglected because you’re so focused on building something that you hope will eventually provide a better life for them. It’s not an easy ride by any means, but every struggle has been worth it for the growth, the purpose, and the vision I’m working toward.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in two areas that both focus on experience and connection: self-care and catering. Through my product line, I offer handcrafted body butters, face washes, body oils and candles that are made with high-quality, nourishing ingredients. Everything is created with intention to help people feel good, take a moment for themselves, and enjoy simple luxuries. On the other side, my catering business brings people together through beautifully designed charcuterie grazing tables and a mobile charcuterie cart. I’m known for my attention to detail, presentation, and creating memorable experiences, whether it’s through scent, texture, or taste.

What I’m most proud of is not giving up, even when things were slow or uncertain. I’ve learned to pivot, evolve, and stay committed to the bigger vision. What sets me apart is the heart I put into everything. I don’t just create products or food, I curate feelings, moments, and care. My businesses are a reflection of who I am, and I think people can feel that.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is sharing birthday parties with my little brother even though our birthdays are five months apart. At the time, I didn’t think anything of it; I genuinely thought that was normal and that every family did it! It wasn’t until I got older that I realized only my mom would come up with something like that. But honestly, those were the best parties. She always made them fun, creative, and full of love. Looking back, it just shows how resourceful and thoughtful she was, and those moments really shaped how I celebrate and appreciate the little things today.
