Check Out Tyler Warwick’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Warwick

Hi Tyler , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Thank you for having me! I grew up in New Zealand, where I began acting in school plays and took on extra roles in TV and film starting at 5 years old. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Performing and Screen Arts from New Zealand and spent several years working professionally in the industry there in musicals like Sweeney Todd and movies and TV shows like Nickelodeon’s Power Rangers. Later, I moved to Australia, where I focused mainly on Musical Theatre. At the start of 2020, I relocated to the USA, but with the onset of COVID-19 and lockdowns, I turned to social media to keep honing my craft. I started by recreating scenes from my favorite movies and TV shows, such as H2O: just add water and Twilight and also created original comedic and musical skits. My following grew rapidly, and by early 2021, acting and content creation on social media became my full-time career. I now have close to 5 million followers across social media and am continuing to grow each day!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is the value of being open to change. Early on, I had a clear vision for my acting career and often hesitated to pursue opportunities that didn’t align with my initial goals. However, as I’ve matured, I’ve realized that embracing flexibility and considering diverse opportunities has been key to my success. Being open to adjusting my path allowed me to discover new avenues and ultimately find greater success in my career.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’ve always been the “fan boy” among my friends, diving deep into the musicals and movies I’m passionate about. Growing up, Wicked was my favorite musical, and LOST was my favorite TV show. I’d spend hours immersing myself in every detail about them. Now, I’m grateful to have the chance to share my love for these films, musicals, and TV shows with the world through social media!

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
For me, happiness comes from discovering a sense of purpose and seeing the positive impact I have on the world. This could be through my career, my family, or my amazing fan base and supporters from around the globe. I find great joy and fulfillment in the happiness of those around me and in sharing that sense of joy with them.
