Check Out Tracy Cook’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Cook.

Hi Tracy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Origin Story (Interview Version):

“I actually started my career in the fitness industry—I was a personal trainer for about eight years. What I realized during that time was that I really loved the sales process. I enjoyed not just helping clients one-on-one, but also understanding why people make decisions and how to connect with them on a bigger scale.

That curiosity is what led me to pursue my MBA in Marketing. From there, I transitioned into nonprofit marketing, where I worked with multimillion-dollar organizations and saw firsthand how strategic campaigns could drive real impact. After gaining that experience, I decided to branch out on my own and founded my agency, Blue Be Marketing.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with businesses of all sizes—from startups to companies generating over $40 million annually—and I’ve developed a strong focus on digital strategy, SEO, and web design. What I love most is that marketing is always evolving, and I get to stay at the intersection of creativity, data, and strategy while helping others grow.”

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Shortly after I branched out on my own, my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer—and this was right in the middle of COVID. It was a really challenging season, but I look back on it now and see God’s timing in it. Running my own business gave me the flexibility to step in as her caregiver while still keeping things moving professionally.

That experience taught me a lot about balance, perseverance, and the importance of building a business that can withstand personal challenges. I’m grateful and praise Jesus that my mom is now cancer-free, and I carry forward those lessons of resilience and perspective into how I lead my work and support others.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What I really enjoy about my work is bringing websites and campaigns to life—from the smallest design details to the overarching strategy that ties everything together. I specialize in digital marketing, web design, SEO, and funnel optimization, and I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations of all sizes, from startups to companies generating over $40 million annually.

I think what sets me apart is that I can see both the big picture and the fine details. I’m very data-driven, but I also care deeply about the user experience and the creative side of marketing. That combination allows me to design strategies that are not only effective but also engaging.

I’m most proud of the impact I’ve been able to make—whether it’s helping a small business grow their online presence from scratch or guiding an established organization through complex digital campaigns. Beyond client work, I also love mentoring and teaching, because helping the next generation of marketers bridge the gap between theory and practice is something I’m passionate about.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I’d say the two qualities that have been most important to my success are creative problem-solving and having a continual learning mindset. In digital marketing, things change constantly—standards shift, algorithms update, and now with AI transforming the landscape, you have to be willing to adapt quickly.

Creative problem-solving allows me to look at challenges from different angles and find solutions that are both strategic and innovative. And the commitment to ongoing learning keeps me ahead of the curve, so I can bring fresh, relevant strategies to my clients. I think that combination has really helped me stay effective and resilient in such a fast-moving industry.
